actually, you can get into even more trouble having unofficial pictures which falls under the bootleg concept... im not trying to give you a hard time, but making websites is what I do for a living so ya know, I dont put anything on a website unless 1) ive asked for permission or 2) someone else is willing to take the responsibility for it.

Hello all
- Sorry I have been away for a day (bad boy!)
Anyway, BEKA, love the site. I think Mistress will be the Webmistress ()...
As for this being serious, I would like it to become serious.
I guess, BEKA we shall have individual jobs. Like, I can be Head of Membership, you can be co-webmaster, etc...
As long as you put a link to the Wicked site, or give the credit to whomever took the picture, is it OK?
Despite the fact that this is most likely the only time I will ever post here, this has become one of my favourite threads.
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for creating a thread where all the Shizkids can reside!
This makes me very very happy, and makes me respect ya'll so much more.
In honour of this event, I have done something I thought I'd never do. My signature is a quote from your God, Idina Menzel.
ENJOY!!!

This can get you by for a while with official photos but a disclaimer/ownership tag wont be good enough if youre charging dues and creating special merch (membership cards or whatever)
And it isnt EVER ok if its a photo someone took from third row orchestra during a performance without permission. Disclaimer or not.

That website is way cool!! Can I have one of the officer positions (maybe since I was on the initial post where the idea was initially concoted?)? If these are already taken, it's cool. And that rotating cd.... oh man! Lol.

ok, wow, i didn't think this would get *this* technical. so does anyone else want to make a site that won't infringe on copyrights? i don't have too much time to make a site that i would be proud of right now... what is there i just threw together last night, with hopes of updating it...

haha BEKA - hence mistress doing it
Well, we wouldn't charge membership - that was just a joke - for now
Of course, if we did become official, and charged ppl (a minimal amount) officers wouldn't have to pay wink wink

I think I finally found a place where I belong
Seriously... it is so nice to find a group of people who love and are inspired by Wicked as I am. I've seen the show 18 times in the past year and can't wait to see it 18 more. I've never responded to a show this way... Wicked is just really special. I love reading what you all think, seeing the little things you notice in the production, and learning more and more about Wicked.
Thanks for starting this!

welcome, tspin!
Great quote, P_E-- I am going to copy it here so it isn't lost:
"I didn't find it funny when some of the stage hands put "Crazy Glue" on my costume, so that when I grabbed my breasts in "Over the Moon," they stayed there. It really didn't help that Adam started screaming "OH MY GOD!! Quick! Someone help! The part of Maureen is getting to her! SHE'S TRYING TO F*ING MILK HERSELF!!!" ---Idina Menzel
Thanks

Haha...great quote!
So, BSoBW2, what should I do as Publicity person thingy?
Hey, guys!
I'm fifteen... but I'm MATURE!!!!
I have not yet seen Wicked, but I'm looking forward to the tour coming to Chicago in May. I also enjoy the soundtrack, for the most part. I might stop in once in awhile. BEKA- the site is AWESOME. You are amazing, lol.

thanks. it's definitely not my best. i put it together quickly last night in 10 minutes. the creation of the site is changing hands, anyway...
"i put it together quickly last night in 10 minutes."
I got that impression, and that's part of why I'm so amazed. If I tried all day long, I couldn't even do that, lol.
"it's definitely not my best."
I'm not surprised (as the site isn't fully developed, so there's very little on it), but based on that site I'm sure your best is incredible.
"the creation of the site is changing hands, anyway..."
So you won't have to deal with such stress.

haha,
BEKA - we need to IM, and mistress
I think, for right now, there are only three of use currently involved as officers.
LEt me know via PM or w/e if you would like a job, etc
Hey everyone-
So I just got back from Wicked this evening, lottery seats are awesome. This was my 17th time seeing the show, and I was still so impressed by it. Shoshana was so much better now than when I saw her a couple months ago (when she filled in for Idina for the vacation week). She and JLT (who is always fantastic!) sounded great together in WITF and FG, and Shosh and David Ayers (who was a good singer and actor but I don't care for his looks much) had good chemistry. I think Shoshana did a fantastic acting job, and her singing finally lived up to what I was waiting for. Jeffrey Kuhn- eh. Singing was fine, acting was fine, but he just didn't seem "munchkinlike". George, Carole, Stacey (in for Michelle), all good as usual. The ensemble sounded really weak tonight though, and you could hear individual voices that were kinda grating.
There were A LOT of mistakes in tonight's show, from Shoshana's hat falling/getting knocked off multiple times, to JLT tossing her wand backwards ("Oh just wear the frock, it's pretty!") and hitting the side of the stage and almost bouncing into the audience and then she stopped to look to see where it went and made sure it didn't hit anyone, and then an ensemble member came to get it in the next scene, to One Short Day- Shosh took too long to get dressed, JLT came out, sang the first 2 lines (buildings...dress salons), Shosh came out, they missed the 3rd (libraries), JLT laughed through the 4th and 5th (palaces, museums), they both laughed through the 6th, then went on (still laughing but at least you could understand the lyrics). In Defying Gravity, the dress didn't cover the platform and was open in the front, so you could see Shoshana's feet and the platform she was standing on. There were a few others I can't remember now. I think it's just me since I have seen it so much that I really noticed this stuff tonight, there wasn't anything that really detracted from the show (except maybe seeing the platform, but that's from the front, those farther back and with the lights around probably didn't see it).
Still a great performance, I will definitely keep going back and seeing it (as long as they keep calling my name in the lottery!!!).
Just wanted to give a review for the sane Wicked folks out there!!!

great review!
It seems that since shosh has taken over, there have been more mistakes and the show has become less professional...
Seriously, costume changes shouldn't take that long, esp since JLT has the ultimate costume change at the beginning.
Her hat should not be falling off - maybe they need a new one that fits better...
Yeah, it definitely seemed less professional... lots of giggling and laughing, the ensemble being off, all the little mistakes. Still fun to see though

"Oh, slight gulch"
I noticed that :) A few people laughed at the performance I was at.
Oh, a funny anecdote: I was standing at the stage door one night, and I saw a little boy, about nine-years-old, waiting there. I asked who had left already and he said "George Hearn. Sweeney..." LOL! I was amazed. He said "he was so nice, he didn't even bake me into a pie," and later a friend of his came by and said "I heard you met 'your good friend, Sweeney...'"

thanks for the review! that does seem like a fair amount of mistakes though... i hope it gets cleaned up as shoshana gets more comfortable.

I agree. I am *hopefully* going to see it in February. Hopefully it gets cleaned up by then. When Shoshana gets more comfortable

i stil haven't decided if i'm gonna see it again after idina left.
i stil have to see q and hairspray, and i think i'm gonna rush rent soon. have to pick a weekend.
Go see it with Shoshana! You will still enjoy the show and I'm sure you will be impressed by her performance. And she'll only get stronger with more time (and stop knocking off her damn hat!).

I am coming back home (NY) the beginning of Feb...
hopefully I will see it
So, I have received a bunch of PMs about officers, etc.
If you would like to be an officer, please PM me, along with your Age and Position...
I know a bunch of you did, but here is a finalized list of the positions....
Co-Presidents/Founders - BEKA531 and BSoBW2
Co-Webmasters - BEKA531 and Mistress Spouzic
Head of Membership - BSoBW2
Assistant Head of Membership - BEKA531
Treasurer - not necessary right now (or ever if we don't become "real," but still a fun little title)
Secretary - keep track of any important things, etc...
Head of Planning - If we do become "authentic," you will have the job of helping the co-presidents organize events
Until we become official, the presidents will be the heads of membership. Eventually, that job will turn over to someone else.
Either BEKA and I will decide, who we can have a small election on this thread and you can vote by sending me a PM...it depends on how many people run, etc.
If you do not become an officer, you are of course still part of the Fan Club. As mentioned above, jobs will open and you will be considered for them first.
Enjoy!
I'll join, if thats alright with all of you.
