I was cast in the dance drama, but she ended up taking me and my friend out because rehearsals conflicted with rehearsals for Almost, Maine. West Side/ Antigone auditions in 2 weeks.

How is everyone's semester going?

That was fantastic, and my god! Your dynamics! Staggering.

Semester's going well. Got a 97 on my Opera Performance, so that was nice. Finishing up our Roman Theatre unit in my theatre class. We're in performances for "Almost Maine" which is a lot of fun to perform. I start "West Side Story" Rehearsal tomorrow. We're dancing in musical theatre finally which is a nice break but I hope we do another round of audition songs soon.

Unifieds are coming around in February.
Auditions for Spitfire Grill will be in March.

This semester is going by WAY too fast... I really can't believe I'm actually graduating in May.

My senior capstone project is quickly approaching! I'm directing an abridged version of The Crucible. Show dates are Dec 4 & 6th. The show is blocked, and today is the off-book date! So excited. :)
... Except my Proctor just came down with Swine Flu this morning and is now home being quarantined for the next week. Oh well. At least we still have time, lol.

Now I need to start focusing on finishing my research/dramaturgy and write my capstone paper. :)

As well as research and write my 15-20 page history paper. And memorize scenes for acting.

And not be sick anymore. ahhhhh.

^ WSS is really popular this season, because my friend's theater company is putting it on in April. We start rehearsals next month, leaving six weeks for the rehearsal period. It's going to be ridiculous, but fun. Luckily, most of the cast are people I've worked with before on Nightmare Before Christmas and the director is great.
