The Student Board has no life anymore! What is everyone up to?!

Hey guys. So I used to frequent this board a lot, but it's been a while. The student board used to be filled with fun threads and exciting people. Where did everyone go and what is everyone up to!!

I'm a junior musical theater major at The Boston Conservatory this year, I'm currently the intern at Rock of Ages and I'm working on bringing Broadway Bares (for Broadway Cares) to Boston!!

BTW, my life, pretty much sucks so far.
I am doing Beauty and the Beast (not Disney). Well, rehearsal hasn't started yet.

I'm a Junior at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts. I'm taking the summer to kind of relax and take a step back to focus on dance and vocal classes rather than productions as my school has so much going on at once during the year.

I was sha-whating at the lack of activity here recently as well. I started on the site in eighth grade and this board was pretty much the coolest thing ever. Things have gradually slowed down. WHAT'S GOING ON!?!?! haha.

Hey all! I'm in my 2nd year of community college and working to transfer to the state university to study musical theatre. I've already done one show this summer, and am just waiting for another opportunity to pop up. Really I'm just excited for school to start again so that I can get back to work! :]

Hi everyone! Summer's been great so far...I just finished a run as Libby Tucker in I Ought to Be in Pictures, I took a trip to NYC to see a bunch of shows, and I just got roped into running lights for Moon Over Buffalo (which should be interesting because I've never worked a lighting board).

Hi guys! I'm Liz. I'll be a Freshman at Pace University for BFA Acting in the fall. I'm redic excited for college. I've been dying to go since I was a sophomore in high school haha. This summer I'm not really doing much. Right now I'm not in any shows but I'm auditioning in the city alot. I have a callback for a show tomorrow. I'm also trying to find an actual job since I have to pay for college. I've applied to 17 places and got called by 0. Thank you Mr. Recession.

So many LVAers on this board! :- ) I sort of miss it occasionally... haha.

I'm a rising junior at Vassar, double major in history and English with a (pointless) minor in Italian. I'm probably going to drop the history major down to a minor, though. This summer I'm interning at a small historic house in Catskill, NY and starting work at Old Navy next Friday (a real job! That pays real money!). In my copious spare time I take ballet class (when I can... the studio is only open Monday-Thursday, lame) and go to the gym and read A LOT.

At school, I'm mostly busy with dance... I'm in the Vassar dance company and a student-run dance group in addition to 2-3 dance classes, so that takes up a lot of my time. I did Godspell last semester (Joanne - "Bless the Lord" soloist - such a fun show but really, really weird) and next semester our department is doing Rent, which I am SO EXCITED to audition for (and if I don't get into that, the student group is doing The Full Monty). Much excitement on the horizon.

I graduated last year from college...so I suppose I am "too old" for this board, but I love it so I post here anywhere :) I am working in a 50/60's show at Dollywood until October. Despite the preconceived notions about theme park shows, it's actually kind of fun...though I am excited to be in a show with lines again.
Drama- I am more than jealous of your Will Swenson kiss.

I've had outdoor theatre experience in Vegas and that's rough. Sensible 115 degree weather, wearing red leather costumes and dancing my face to Jesus Christ Superstar. LOVES.

What is Dollywood.....hahaha

If you're in NYC, you HAVE to see The Norman Conquests. Best acting on any stage in the city.

I'm very useless on this thread, but I guess I can consider myself a student, so that makes me able to post here! haha. I'm a Creative Writing major with a focus in theatre and a Music Composition minor. If you haven't guessed, I'm going to school to write musicals. I'm way excited. haha. So if you guys want to be cast in musicals that are cramazing, then you better talk to me! haha. JK, but seriously, I could be casting all of you guy someday (since all of us are going to make it to broadway).
