Today:
Catalogued my underwear draw, cross-referenced it with my sock draw. After all these always do have to match, don't they?
Then I cut my toenails, and buffed them to a high shine.
After that, I mixed and drank a pitcher of martinis, with olives, very dry.
Then I read the Cliff notes for Hamlet, King Lear and Macbeth.
About an hour ago, I started to clean Daschel's dog house in preparation for his return home. He is in training for the Mutt Marathon, and in December will fly to Venice to participate in the Iron Mutt competition so we have a lot of work ahead of us.
Later tonight I am going to see an original Newark Community Theatre production of The Good Earth, presented in sign language with performance artists playing the house, the barn, the animals and the crops surrounded by a ring of candles and colored string, and Yanni on keyboard.
After I get home I will take a nice, hot bubble bath with Daschel and his trainer, Enrique.
Maybe we'll mix up another pitcher of dry martinis and add TWO olives, if we are feeling adventurous. None for Daschel, of course. He is in training after all.
