This is slightly off-topic, but I just wanted to say that I love sliced baguettes and yesterday had one heck of a time getting someone to slice it. I went to three stores and finally when I got to Fairway they gladly sliced it for me. Every other place I have gone will do it but act like I am the biggest nuisance ever, when I know no one is ever at the bakery and they just sit around.

Bread...bread...sourdough, rye, white, baguette, focaccia, ciabatta, lavash, nan, pita, malawach, French, challah, raisin..

I am Jewish and it is forbidden for us to eat white bread especially with Miracle Whip and Velveeta. My personal favorite is a very crusty Italiam bread dipped in a mixture of roasted garlic, rosemary, cracked pepper and extra virgin olivie oil.

Potato Bread - White bread with a college degree

It is also good for those people who are afraid to admit they eat white bread as it is alledgedly not good for you. You can say " I don't eat white bread - only potato bread"
