The Worst Movie Ever

I took a sick day and just watched Dracula 3000 on demand. Why? I don't know. Why should you see it? No reason comes to mind. It was so bad that I found it amusing to call out the uber-cheap special effects.

Now, I'm curious. What is the worst movie you've ever watched?

The movie I could tolerate for the shortest amount of time before walking out was Moulin Rouge, mainly because I couldn't stand the sound of Ewan McGregor's singing voice.

I love bad movies

The undisputed king of them all is Ed Wood's "Masterpiece" Plan 9 From Outer Space

Honorable mention goes to

The Terror Of Tiny Town - An all midget western
The Thing With Two Heads
They Saved Hitler's Brain
It's Alive

There are so many more good bad ones it would take forever to list them.

I have a ton of them on DVD. They are great popcorn movies

I tried to get thru Myra Brenckenridge but gave up after about 20 minutes

Check out The Oscar with Stephen Boyd & Land Of The Pharaohs . Another is Empire Of The Ants - both with a pre dynasty Joan Collins chewing the scenery .

You generally cannot go wrong with an Ed Wood movie. They are all horribly bad

Night Of The Ghouls
Glen or Glenda
Jail Bait

Wood is a story unto himself. They movie Ed Wood is great & really gives you a background on him. He had budgets of about $ 10 and he really trying to create memorable movies. He did but not in a way he anticipated.

Some movies are schlock and intended for that genre. I don't count those because they're supposed to be bad.

But of the movies that are intended to be good movies, I would vote "Dancer in the Dark" as one of the worst movies ever.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

The only way to enjoy MYRA BRECKENRIDGE is by listening to Raquel Welch's audio commentary while viewing the actual film. PRICELESS!

So many to choose from, Jane2 had a good instinct for me though. Was not watching that for more than 10 minutes, Alas, it's one of my wife's favorite movies. Across the Universe same thing.

I LOVE Showgirls! Especially how in every scene, Nomi is angry and is barging out of any room, or stage, that she was in.

I forgot about SHOWGIRLS. However, not even that was as bad as DRACULA 3000 earlier today.

I too enjoy watching really bad movies on occasion. And yep, Joan Collins starred in some real stinkers early in her career.

The only one that comes to mind for me is Evita with Madonna. I like the music and the show, but this was just boring and the music sounded insanely over produced. What I mean by that is it sounded like they were trying to cover up the weak singing.

Foodfight!, considered the worst animated film ever made. Certainly the most soulless, which you can't really say about a lot of good bad movies. Knowing its production going in makes for absolutely delicious schadenfreude, however.
