I love Jack from Coupling, so I'm just glad to see he's still working.
Word.
Tired watching it last season, couldn't stand it. Plus the two leading ladies both awful.
Grew to love the show even though it was ridiculous. I'm almost sad they're pulling it together. They've got a sh**ty timeslot.
I can't believe ANYONE would want to recast Ivy over Karen. Good lord.
JERSEYGIRL, you left out the word NOT (between WOULD and WANT) :)
Sue, you wanted another actress than Megan for Ivy with Katherine still as Karen?
WYN, no, i wanted Ivy not Karen to play Marilyn in Bombshell.
I do like Kat McPhee though, i just think Ivy(Megan) is better
I think JerseyGirl was commenting on Spielberg thinking of recasting Ivy with a different actress than Megan instead of recasting Karen with a different actress than Karen.
OOOPS, OK thanks for the clarification!
Word.
I haven't seen the show in so long I can't even remember who half of these characters are.

I just found this show this past week On Demand cable. Watched episode 1 and was hooked. Watched the entire season in 2 days. Can't wait for Season 2 to begin but I don't know how I will like only seeing one episode a week. Like I said, I overdosed on it in 2 days. Glad to hear Ellis is leaving the show. What a bitch.
Mister Matt just won with that character list right there.
I ALWAYS think of her as Grace.

Now things are looking worse than ever for the show.
'Smash' ratings smushed!
I see the axe being lowered on this show very soon with those kind of numbers.
that sux, hopefully theyll give it a chance before they drop it for some reality crap with D stars

^ As I mentioned earlier in another thread I think NBC will just air the rest of the episodes and let the series end like 'Harry's Law'.

I wonder if the 9pm start time had anything to do with it. I don't know what was up against it at that time, except for a new Dance Moms, which I did not watch because of Smash.
New Girl was new, following a big moment in last week's episode.
I think the show just needs word of mouth again. General consensus, I think, is that it is starting to get better. Once that is more well-known, it may get viewers back.

I watched the first 40-odd minutes and just couldn't believe how actively dreadful it was. Badly written over the top crap, and not even enjoyably badly written, enjoyable over the top, enjoyably crappy.
I saw someone online mention that the characters all seemed to be speaking in Exposition rather than English. And that moment where Huston's ex-husband actually sends a text that actually says "Time to move forward with the plan" was remarkable. At least they cut to a commercial before he could twirl his moustache and say "bwah ha ha!!"
