Because that's what its turned into. Bye guys
Today a man dressed as a woman got on the subway. He was almost pretty as a girl but I could still tell it was a guy because of the shoulders and hair. What's the worst thing you have seen like this?

i wouldve looked for an adams apple if i wasnt sure of someones gender...
Yeah--GBLT is Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transexual
My nanny was a granny with a big old trannie fanny
cuz, honey, if you gonna be dressing up in drag as Marilyn, you best recognize!
There's a man that shops in my hometown mall, where I used to work at the customer service desk.
He's a large man, with a beard.
He wears really dowdy housedresses.
Think "wife in polygamist Utah" type dress.
I didn't know whether to address him/her as "Sir" or "Ma'am", so I just always refrained from calling him/her anything.
well, the beard makes it tricky--but he probably identifies as a male.
If you see one in women's clothes, you should say "she" and "ma'am" :)
Drag? uh no. A women playing a women doesn't classify as drag as far as I know. And for your information I do not play Marilyn anymore.

I feel that you are a homosexual for a reason...because you are a MAN who is attracted to MEN. Most transexuals are freaks in my eyes, but I still respect them.
honey--drag does not mean changing gender. It means dressing it up. According to Rupaul--drag is whatever one's clothing is--so whatever you wear is your drag.

transexuals are so darn brave. Does it really matter if it was a man or a woman ?

I wouldn't call it being brave...they choose to do it and enjoy doing it.
WOW--Bwaytheatre11, you really need to learn up on transexuals. They are not freaks. They are indeed who they are for a reason--genetics.

"Most transexuals are freaks in my eyes, but I still respect them." - I can't honestly say I understand how that is possible. Some things I would think are mutually exclusive.
I'm curious. If you are a gay man and like men why would you dress as a woman to attract other gay men?

Thank you, Renee.
I guess I should have said that I am not attracted to them at all and think it is a completely different form of homosexuality.

hmmm - it seems the post I was quoting has been edited - does that mean I should ge back and edit mine?

Actually, it wasn't. It is still up there.

ok--let's have a lesson. Class, listen up:
Drag Queen: gay man (most likely) who dresses as a woman for entertainment
Transvestite: Mostly straight men who are turned on or feel comfortable by dressing in women's clothing. To each their own, ok?
Transexuals: people of whatever sexual orientation who feel that they were born the wrong sex. It is believed that there is more to gender than XX and XY and that these people carry those secondary traits that make for being the wrong gender.

Being 16 and very young, that is all I needed. I appreciate you explaining that to me...next time, explain and then tell me over and over that you strongly disagree. That is, if I still feel the same way.
