Who was the man that used to do impersonations of Barbra, Judy and the others? He had an album or two out back in the 70's I believe and he was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I'm thinking it was Jim something (but I could be wrong) Anybody?

Jim Bailey -- he used to do a Garland that was so uncanny vocally that it would fool some of Judy's longtime fans. I think he's still around.

The Marilyn icon is Jimmy James, one of the best female impersonators I have ever seen. Not only does he look exactly like her (and Judy, Liza, Patsy Cline and many others) his voice is unbelievable. All of his impersonbations are live, not lipsynched. Here's his website:

Is the fact that NYU is not playing Marilyn related to the upcoming convention? You know MM was like THAT with John and Bobby? Or did they think you were better suited to the Anita Bryant costume?
