So far I like JD but my fear is that he is going to turn out to be crazy. From the previews it looks like he might have to some anger management issues.

This season actually looks to be MUCH better than ALL of the recent seasons!!!!!!

OMG! IT was SO FUNNY to hear Chet say the guy was cute, but say he wasn't gay...just METROSEXUAL...which in "Not A Sin"!

Go i can remember when the Real World started years ago with New York, it was brilliant, no flash, no gimmicks it was an interesting social experiment with normal people, that and the brilliant San Francisco ones were great, the new ones are trash

Wow! Just saw the first episode. I must admit I stop watching REAL WORLD back in 2002! its gotten old! I'm probably the same age as the REAL WORLD NEW YORK like Eric Nies and all the cast...I just got too old to see bunch of kids yelling at one another. I love REAL WORLD back when they start in 1992..saw all the seasons till I just give up...

I will say... its pretty interesting batch this seasoon. a good loking gay guy, a gymrat from NH, bisexual girl, a transgender and our favorite...MORMON! yay!

You just gotta throw a mormon there.....

I will watch it!

A while ago they had a girl who was Mormon, and I believe she got in trouble for going on the show. Wish I could remember what season it was ...

Sometimes I wish they'd have someone from my state on there, but NH is close enough.

What was with Chet basically asking JD about his di*k size and congratulating him on having the magnum condoms? That would make sense if Chet was gay too, but he still claims not to be. I'm not getting it.

I watched it tonight, and it was fun to see Ryan's reaction to getting kissed by a drag queen, as well as the phonecall that followed it.

I can't figure Chet out. The scene in the boat with Ryan was uncomfortable. The condom fascination was odd. Ryan's not very smart though. Who didn't see that kiss coming?

I watched all the Chet dailies. I don't think he's gay. I think he's just never met a gay guy before so he has a lot of questions. I've done the same thing with my straight friends. He does come off pretty gay, but I don't think that's his intention. He even says in one of the videos that he doesn't mean to give off the wrong vibe -- he just does, and I think that pretty much sums him up.

I know he looks gay, but just because he dresses gay doesn't mean he is. It just means he has good taste. (Except for those scarf things.) And lots of straight guys wear eyeliner. His reasoning makes sense. He got more attention from women then when he didn't wear it so he wore it again. He could be one of those closet mormons, but I really think some guys just want him to be gay. Until he makes out with JD I'm not jumping on the gay boat.

This season is lame. I can't believe the way Ryan acted when the drag queen gave him a quick kiss on the lips. Seriously, how stupid. Talk about stupid military man. And his girlfriend sounds like a bigotted little lady.

For some reason, after years of not being interested in the Real World, this season has drawn me back in. Maybe my life has just grown more boring over time... I don't know, but I'm hooked!

The first few season's of this show were great. There was a wide variety of people, with real personalities, who interacted in interesting ways (R.I.P. Pedro). Then they began casting it with self-obsessed attention-seekers who figured out that they could get more screen time by taking off their clothes and jumping in the hot tub every chance they got. It became trash. From a cursory glance this season looks like it may have some promise though.
