I was way into Gwen during my redhead stage. Now I likes 'em big blonde and beautiful.

She did have the second best set of Broadway gams. Alexis Smith had the best.

I think the picture Glebb posted of her is more attractive.

I don't have the movie (don't kill me) but I have seen Whatever Lola Wants of Youtube, and loved it. Fantastic dancer and performer.

Also on there is a video of her and Chita doing the Finale to Chicago from a TV show.

Oh, I think she's very pretty.
I had the honor of meeting her at a Joffrey event at The Wiltern Theatre in LA back in the 80s. Very down to Earth and nice legend.

Well, you know that clip from 1962 of her and Fosse showing the choreography of Lola, she really isn't that attractive of a woman. But when she stands up and juts out her hip, it's divine.

If you're going strictly by conventional beauty standards, Gwen had a "goofy" comedienne's face... stuck on top of one of the sexiest, most athletic female bodies in show business.

I find talent sexy too, but I wouldn't call that a common conventional standard.

Still, for my taste, she was HOT.

But then, I'm a gay male, admiring "in theory" not "in practice."

Gwen had a horrible experience making the film Damn Yankees. At one point the cinematographer asked the directors George Abbott and Stanley Donen (in front of her), "don't you want to do a closeup here?"

I can't remember which one of them (also in front of her) smirked and replied, "Why bother?"

Gwen was devastated, and swore she'd never come back to Hollywood again.

It took a LONG time to get her back.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tab on several occasions and getting to know him and Alan a bit socially. He lived right next door to one of my best friends for years. The man STILL looks fantastic, and he couldn't be more charming in person.
