I think Betty hosting the Oscars is a horrible idea.

Also, that CNN blog has people complaining about the "lame" hosts SNL has like Jon Hamm and Alec Baldwin, so clearly the people supporting this have no sense whatsoever.
Guess what, y'all? The Betty White episode was fun, but it wasn't the end all be all of SNL just because you wanted it to be. It was fun to watch the old lady say a bunch of salty things but I really think a reality check is in order.

(I don't know why but I just reminded myself about the old commercial on SNL where they put the batteries in old people and as they dropped dead, the last one standing was for the battery that was being advertised)

Love the Burnett but this Facebook things is getting ridiculous.

Betty White drew terrific ratings for SNL, and I think that if Carol Burnett can generate the same kind of buzz, it'll happen.
