This won't decide anything, but this last week has been pretty damn entertaining, no?
I'll be voting here in a few hours. And I am not going to tell anyone whether I've switched allegiances or not either! Mwahaha!
You couldn't pay for better entertainment trekkie, it's true.
she takes indy by 6 and he takes nc by 10.
it's a wash and the slog continues, thankfully, towards the inevitable riot in denver where the democrats pick from one of two ugly choices: pick bammy and probably lose their best chance at the white house since 2000, pick hillary and alienate the african-american and youth vote.
She takes Indiana by 12 and North Carolina by 3 in a stunning upset.
I don't ordinarily like Mark Halperin's writing, but he pretty much reduced tonight's blather down to this:
===
Things You Will Hear Most Often on Cable TV Through Wednesday (Depending on What Happens…)
1. “She did what she had to do.”
2. “She didn’t do what she had to do.”
3. “John McCain is the big winner tonight.”
4. “No matter what, Clinton can’t overtake Obama’s lead in elected delegates.”
5. “There is no way the Democratic Party is going to take the nomination away from an African-American who is the winner of the elected delegate race.”
6. “It was the fight over the gas tax that did it.”
7. “This leaves us right where we were.”
8. “Look at how he did with white, working-class voters in the exit poll.”
9. “People are going to start telling her she needs to get out of this race.”
10. “Once again, he missed a chance to put her away.”
11. “Evan Bayh – he really worked it.”
12. “She’s a fighter.”
13. “He looks tired.”
14. “No doubt about it, the Democratic Party is in chaos.”
15. “Could there be a dream ticket?”
16. “This thing goes on and on.”
17. “Unbelievable!”
18. “Reverend Wright really hurt him.”
19. “Reverend Wright really had no effect.”
20. “This is really about 2012.”
HALPERIN’S TAKE
And behind the scenes:
"Aww, crap. Does this mean we have to go to Wheeling, West Virginia now?"

Oh, yes. Onward to West Virginia!
PJ - if you could make up Bingo cards with those phrases, we could play 'Buzzword Bingo'.
Every time anybody on MSNBC or CNN says "Unbelievable!"--we all have to take shot (or a hot) of whatever is getting us through the evening.
I'm going to miss that map with the giant Guam that they kept showing, though.
"Or just a drinking game."
If you watch MSNBC and take a shot every time Chris Matthews says something insightful or intelligent ... at the end of the evening you'll be completely sober.
That's no fun! But seriously, I can't watch Chris Matthews any more.
Keith Olbermann either, which makes me sad.
ridiculously early and assuredly wrong numbers from indy have hil up 61-39.
i have a question: if the exit polls consistently get wrong who won, doesn't that pretty much mean that nothing they say should be trusted?
bammy campaign: we're sorry we decided to break the law
9% in: 57-43 for hil in indy (her lead, it dwindles).
at 12% she's back up to a 58-42 lead. i'm curious as to why the newsies are calling this too close to call. it might be too early to call it, but she's got a commanding early lead.
and the networks call nc based on exit polling alone.
the exit polls in indy show it to be a 4% win for hillary which is clearly too close to call.
i wonder what the margin is that they're showing for bammy in nc? i wonder if they'll share that number?
so based on abc's exit polls, bammy wins nc 58-42. let's see how well they hold up.
well, I don't know what to say except obama's electoral poll numbers better turn around if he's gonna be the nominee. Clearly, no matter what, people want him to be the nominee.
Well he better win. And he better deliver if he does.

I KNEW that NC would go to Obama, but I was hoping it was by a smaller margin than predicted.
I guess anything can happen at this point. Only about 28% reporting at this point so we'll see in an hour or so if it changes.
Indiana is currently at
Clinton 53%
Obama 47%
70% reporting, but much of northwestern Indiana hasn't reported yet. (They are on central rather than eastern time so the polls were close later.)
