Haha, this thread is great!
But getting quite serious about the serious topic of raisin preference-I like a nice raisin in my slaw, and on the topic of beans-REAL chili has no beans! I hate chili with beans!

Raisins are great to add in rice/quinoa dishes and steamed spinach or kale. Mix the raisins with sauteed garlic and pine nuts and they'll be even better.
As a vegetarian I obviously can't imagine chili without beans, but what would be left? Meat and seasoned tomato sauce?
