Felciano - I know exactly how you feel about the best friend - love interest - gay thing. I have the same exact situation going on right now... it sucks, I know!! My problem is, he is very conservative and would never admit to being gay even if he was (... Joe from Angels in America, anyone?), but everyone thinks he is gay anyways. argh!

I'm also sorry you got sick! That really sucks, especially when you were looking foreward to something. Boo! (I'm the one who infected the entire Mondavi center in Davis because I refused to miss the Chanticleer concert even though I had a high fever. Not smart.)

And I forgot to mention... last week I failed an AP test and discovered that it is impossible at this point to bring my B in Chemistry up to an A, so my straight-A average forever is ruined. My parents will LOVE that...

I made the Dean's List for the first time this semester! Unfortunately, when I mention it to friend they think I'm rubbing it in their face. I'm sorry that I worked my butt off and did well. But I can't complain, so I'll just smile and nod.

And I just got a shot and my whole arm hurts.

Well I'm bummed. Nate Berkus was supposed to call me today(according to the shows producers) to answer a decorating question I had on his radio program. I did not leave my desk for 3 hours, and the phone did not ring.

My boss' boss is a fecking psychopath uber-OCD batsh*t crazy C U Next Tuesday, and I hope she slips on a banana peel and trips headfirst into the path of an oncoming speeding crosstown bus.

Not really drama, just fully realizing that that's her personality, and I need to get used to it.

Ok, my university is making me really mad. After about 50 phone calls they finally processed whatever paperwork was necessary to be able to send me a letter to tell prospective employers that I am eligible for licensure as a teacher. They forgot however to send me the paperwork I needed. I hand delivered a form that they needed to fill out. It was a quick and simple form, but instead they send me a huge letter that they just made up stating the same thing. That letter is great and all, but the department of ed here isn't going to accept it. Now I have to start all over and call them about the right form I need which I am sure has been thrown out by now. *GRRR*

On a positive note, I have a job interview tomorrow for a school that has three openings Hopefully I can take care of one of those.

I need to let out that I have to wait until the end of the week to find out if I got my dream job at my dream company and I don't think I can wait that long. Plus, I'm a pessimist and I don't think I'll get it. And then I'll feel like a worthless human being. Oh, rejection, one day I will be able to stand you, but until then, watch your back...

And as luck would have it when I called the university I caught the person I needed on the phone and she said she forgot to send it but that it would go out first thing in the am. Maybe I'll get certified after all.

Thanks, Kel and SM2! And I have dreamed but it's just getting my hopes up. Plus it's going to be a slow week at my current job, so I will have plenty of time to think of the potential job. Oh well. I'll have to find something to keep me occupied around here.

I found another clip of Jon from Cabaret on YouTube. I cannot begin to explain how happy this makes me feel. I'm already in a good mood, and it totally has sent my spirits way up.
