Bonjour SmEllie, ca va? I didn't get online until laaate last night. Had way too much SH*T to do in the evening. I've got a deadline today, tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and next Wednesday, and then finals on next Monday and Thursday. So the only days I've got off are Saturday and Tuesday.

Seeing Cats tonight, and have to earn my press comps, so I'm frantically writing a transcript of the interview to give the publicist, since the article didn't run last week and she'll eat me alive. Men. Spandex. Whiskers. Why?

I'm going to write a review. I've never seen Cats in its entirety before. I rented the DVD once, and dozed off after that obnoxiously memorable Jellicle Cats song. (Jellicles can, jellicles do, jellicles, jellicles can, jellicles DO--BAH!)

I'm an ALW fan for JCS and POTO, and sort of for Evita (dug the movie, haven't seen the stage show - then again, I mostly liked Evita for its art direction and visual style)...Cats? Ehhh......

Meh, I like POTO and Evita, not familiar with JCS, although I do know what JCS stands for. *pats self on back*

But Cats must have done something right to have run for so long, right? But if I was going, especially for free, I would so have to bring a pair of false glasses - y'know the ones with the painted eyes.

I suppose it could be good, but I have no desire whatsoever to see it. That may be close-minded, but meh, sue me.

In a similar vein of your faux glasses, I'm intending on bringing real binoculars. Even though I'll probably be in the first 10 rows of the orchestra, I figure Dancer Men + Spandex = Protuding Naughty Bits. Good formula, if you ask me.

now see I would be ok going to see a pro production of Cats, but the youth theatre company that I do a lot of work with decided it would be a good idea to have a gaggle of adolescents do it.. **eyes bug out of head** I'm so not touching that production with a 20 foot pole. Tiff you will have to let us know how it is. Sounds like you have quite a plateful at the moment.
