Not a part - some jazz musician is putting together a group for a recording.
Ooh, that sounds good. Will you be serenading us as well?
(And did the menu meet your approval? I'm still looking for those popular potatoes!)
I haven't had a chance to look yet - I will soon.
I'll serenade you, sure - it doesn't take a lot to get me to show off. You'd have to be Helen Keller to not have noticed what an attention whore I am.
*feels around on Braille keyboard*
You? An attention whore?
The Bolzano potatoes may only be available for brunch, but the fries do not disappoint. And your bread is served with tomato sauce.
Mmm...I'm sold.
On a somewhat related topic, this morning is my weekly weigh-in!
*fingers crossed for 3 more pounds lost!*
Be right back!
"morning"?
Oh Jesus. I slept in later than I thought! (I only tumbled out of bed about an hour ago.)
ETA: What's the closest hotel to the Shubert Theatre?
That depends on budget and how close you really truly have to be. How close do you have to be, anyway?
Hmmm, she never came back from the weigh-in...hope it wasn't bad news...
TIFF!! GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR!!!
Grr...only one pound lost. Geez, and all that effort just beforehand...I think that bowel movement left me sideways.
I'm not worried about hotel budget, just that I'm taking one of those Super Shuttles from JFK directly to the Shubert Theatre so I can line-up for Spamalot SRO with Mabel right after I land (yup, luggage and all), but the shuttles only drop people off at midtown hotels, so I wanted to know which one was closest. Marriot Marquis?
Gah what a boring story. You owe me thirty seconds, Tiff.
Actually, I was going to get a hotel room close to the Shubert...all the better to whisk Niles and Frank N Furter away, and have them make sweet, sweet love to me, while Sara send her regards and her understudy to videotape.
Niles doesn't like girls, and Frankie is married to Charlotte D'Amboise.
Good luck to ya.
I knew Niles didn't, but Frankie does? When did that happen? And all I wanted was to be part of that sandwich. Alas, it looks like all my sexual frustration will be directed towards you instead.
(PS. Can you're game for Bolzano's, could you give them a ring and find out their hours on Sunday and if they have a table for 6 around 9:30? I just tried sending an e-mail but apparently the address they provide doesn't work. :-/)
Oh my God, I have to do EVERYTHING. I haven't even looked at the damn menu yet.
Where is that Ellie girl anyway??
[trudges over to phone]
Hang on.
Ummm...did you see what they call their Sunday dinner?
I initially read "Rath" and thought it was kismat, but alas, it's actually "Ruth".
It is still awfully bizarre...
I'mr eading this review on Nobu 57 and my mouth is watering. (It's a mixed review, saying the food was fine, but it's no better than the other Nobus, which are already terrific. What kind of negative review is that?!) Damn youse, Ellie!
Ellie, honesly, dear, what is so worrying about sushi? You don't even have to eat raw fish - you can have vegetable rolls, or cooked stuff...
