Totally true, Nic. (Though for Jane, you may want to add an additional 0 for "10-20+ pounds".) Okay, I'm going to start scrawling out that resume. Then I'll deal with the headshot. I'm not having a good skin day. Time to start pounding back the water and apple cider vinegar!

(By the way, I mentioned this to Nic already, but it goes for everyone - if I don't get cast, and some nasty b*tch gets the role of "Drunk Girl In Bar" or "Corpse #3", I expect that EVERYONE on this thread will share my indignation and engage in appropriate cattiness when the movie's released.)

That's the problem. I look ethnic but my Cantonese is pathetic. Unless I'm ordering dim sum, it's nearly unintelligible.

Plus I don't look like Lucy Liu or Zhang Ziyi. I've got such a westernized Asian look.

DD is so sweet to share his impressions about The Pack...

it's very fun and I only regret it plays for only two weekends!

Funny thing is, with 200 or more folks (that's about full) in the house, I could not see, but could HEAR DayDreamer EVERY time he laughed.. and to my heart's joy, that was OFTEN and LONG!

So nice after last having played a bitter hateful ol' Hack in a wild musical that then is highlighted by a bitter death of an audience favorite, after making people drive 40km to see you perform in it.. :)

got to leave the café and finish my dog walking before tonight's performance..

everyone.. PLEASE TALK DD into coming into the city to catch a musical group at the Baltic Room.. remind him it's the husband of a stage manager he likes :)

know what really bugs me? when they keep calling her Ziyi Zhang for all the oscar stuff. i'm like... no. She's Chinese... it's Zhang Ziyi. ugh. sorry, had to vent.

I just got back from installing the receiver at my mom's house, and decided to have El Pollo Loco - it is a healty chicken place here on the Westcoast. I am not sure if they have them in NY.

Two roasted chicken breasts a side salad and a tortilla - I did cheat and eat the skin.

Makes up for the wine I am going to have later on.

It took two hours to get the receiver installed - my mom's stereo cabinet had no room, so had to move shelves and modify placement of pieces . . . another workout after my workout!

Headshot and resume sent out. Now the waiting begins. I'll be so disappointed if I don't even get called for an audition.

Now to start working on my Icon Productions cover letters and resumes.

They said it didn't have to be a professionally taken headshot, so it was just me, my digital camera and a snapshot (took about 20, narrowed it down to one with Rath's help). So yup, yup, yup, yup and...yup.
