Okay. I sent the e-mail with the headshot and resume around 8:30pm. It's the morning and I still haven't heard anything. Am I getting paranoid? Should I call them up to pester them? Should I take the hint? I just wish I knew: a) why the talent agency is scouting for people instead of the casting director; b) who's required to audition (just principals and stunts or everyone??); c) what kind of person doesn't check their email at all hours of day and night!

I'm just hoping since the ad was only put into our local paper (for a suburb with a high Asian concentration), that a) not too many people saw it and applied; b) not too many Chinese parents would be all that keen on having their teen/twentysomething kid drop everything to pursue acting. "Be a doctah, lah! Or a lawyah!"

Give it time Tiff - don't obsess. And, if you don't get this for any reason, don't worry.
It is just one opportunity. There will be many others.
Did you by chance send it so you could track at least the server receiving the email, or even read receipt (which is optional to send back, so is pretty useless and can be perceived in a negative fashion sometimes . . .).
I would think if you don't hear anything by tomorrow, follow up. Otherwise, they will think you are a bit on the loony side and may just say nah, because they don't want to deal with it.
I took the day off - off to do errands.
