Hello, bitches.
Hey Rath. BTW - thanks for the kind words a few days ago.
No need to thank me.
Oh, YWIW, this is a nightmare and I'm in the middle of it-the painting is not over, it will go on to next week. Then, I'm having the guy do my floor-so I have to leave everything in the state it's in. But that's ok-the bad part is I got sick and I'm allergic to the paint! Oy vey-I walk up one flight of stairs from the subway and I'm panting for breath because my lungs are all congested.
yeah, I know, I'm whining-waaaa waaaa. It'll all be gorgeous when it's over.
now how are you?
Much better than I was a couple of days ago.
My neighbor just finished getting new hardwood floors in, so I can feel your pain.
I am spoiling my two beasts tonight and relaxing with some wine.
And whine away - construction sucks.
What you up to tonight Rath?

Do you mean to say you're giving your beasts some wine?
No, they just give me some Whine. The wine is just for me!
My wine helps drown out the big one's whine.
gotcha! Nothing drowns out my beast's yelling though, and he decides to scream the minute All My Children comes on.
Right now they are in a post dinner-induced stupor.
They are both sleeping - a bit like mirror immages - actually very cute.
Do you only have one beast? And, why I have not heard more about him/her!
I'm allergic to cats and dogs, so I have a parrot. I usually don't talk about him unless others are talking about pets. He's very cute.
Wow, parrots are really loud sometimes! But I have friends who have birds, and they adore them.
Is he in the cage all the time, or does he get some playtime in the house!
Oh, whenever I'm home, I have the cage door open so he can go out and in when he wants. They don't really fly around, they like to stay on their cages, but on the outside!
YWIW, I'm at work, to answer your question.
And, I met the most gorgeous cat I've ever seen in my life last night. A golden persian.

One of my best friends had birds, but not Parrots. Stoli would come down to visit with me sometimes (she was in the building where I live). Stoli would just stare transfixed at the birds!
I am sure he would love to meet a Parrot!
Rath - those are pretty cats! I have a certain bias towards Russian Blues and Snowshoe Siamese, but Golden Persians are very regal looking animals. And, lots of hair!

I'm sorry to say my parrot is antisocial. Any time he met another animal he turned his back. not nice.
Hi Rath, what's new besides a cat?
This one looks very similar to the one I met last night.
Hi Jane! Friends from overseas are in for two weeks, so I've been on a whirlwind!
That is a pretty cool looking cat, notwithstanding my bias!
She's gorgeous. And very sweet. I wanted to kittynap her!
I think if I brought home another cat, Stoli might eat it!
Long haired cats are so much work! But, they are so beautiful.
Do you have to entertain your guests and bring them all over the place? Could be fun seeing things you might not normally think of doing.
How long are you stuck at work?
Hopefully you can get out and play with your guests sooner rather than later.
They've actually made most of the plans - I brought them to a friend's place last night for cocktails though. But mostly we've been doing things that they've planned. And they've done lots of things without me too. I've only seen them twice so far - they arrived a week ago today.
I'm here till about 5:00 a.m. They're seeing the Callaways at Carnegie Hall tonight, the bitches.
I don't see them again now until Monday.
Okay, "whirlwind" was a bit of an exaggeration.
