Sacramento California. Solvang is town near Santa Barbara.
A 6 hour drive turned into a 24 hour show, where my uncle and aunt ended up driving both my sister and me in a borrowed work truck (after re-loading all of her belongings) to Sacramento. My Aunt did not even have her shoes on.
It was a weird couple of days.

Now, but the first new car I bought was in fact a stick. I had a Mitsubishi Eclipse for about 10 years. Fun little Napa Red 5 speed.
It really was the damn clutches fault - it was ready to go when they loaned it, and they knew I was relatively new at driving stick!
Sucker-punched by family again!

Oh yes. That, too. The worst case scenario would be...Saturday night, 7:30pm...I'm at the game, you guys are sitting at a bar waiting for me, going, "Well THAT wasn't very much fun. Do you think she'd REALLY care if we leave without her? We'll just leave her duffle at the GM Place entrance. Surely nice Canadians won't take things that aren't theirs!"
