I got this packet over the summer that said I have to read the 1960's novel To Kill A Mocking bird. One thing I have to do is choose 3 songs that reflect on book. If you have read this novel and are willing to help me I will greatly appreciate it.

I don't want to help you.
I want you to read that book. It's one of my all-time favorites, and a true American original.
Do yourself a big favor and read it.
i have to agree. it's an AMAZING book. you need to read it.
READ THE BOOK! It is brilliant and you will not regret it.
Of course I have read the book! I just want to get some opinions.

I think the person is just looking for help with the songs.
It's a great book, though, I have to agree! I loved it when we did it my sophmore year!
Well, if I remember correctly everyone dies in the end, so any Requiem would be a good choice.
Well, I don't mind helping you with song ideas, but I do mind helping you cheat yourself out of something so special. It will stay with you for life, if you read it.
Okay, here's a test... I would say, to choose songs that "reflect" the story, you would want to start out by naming the books major themes.
Pick three or four from this list (and not all of them are in the book, so it's a test to see if you've really read it!):
Love
Jealousy
Intolerance
Childhood
Innocence
Fear
Revenge
Hatred
Mistaken Identity
Grief
Social Injustice
Prejudice
Unrequited Love
Self Motivation

Everyone is so mean- of course you've read the book! You wouldn't want us to do your homework for you! For the three songs I'd Pick:
"How Much is That Doggie in the Window?"
"Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini"
"The Monster Mash"
Perfect, Joe.
Excellent choices. I knew you'd set a "good" example.
Duh, everyone.
"Mocking Bird"!!!
'and if that Mocking Bird don't sing
he's gonna buy you a diamond ring...'
"Abba Dabba Honeymoon" also is an acceptable choice. Or "Disco Duck." Or perhaps anything from the Ray Stevens repertoire.

I was going to suggest Walk Like An Egyptian.
See, tl45?
Your work has been done for you.
Doesn't Atticus keep saying something about not knowing a person until you wear their boots that are made for walking? And that's just what they do?
Even some of the more modern songs would be acceptable I think.
For instance "Sexyback".
That speaks to the theme of Scout bringing sexy back.
who reads books when there is a major motion picture to watch instead? plus, just copy from the soundtrack to the film.
There is a beautiful Irish ballad called Mayella's Busted Up Chifarobe that might be appropriate. It is very sad and haunting.
Calvin, that was brilliant.
Ewell do give me a pain....
Green Finch and Linet Bird.
Listen to the Mockingbird.
Feed the Birds.
Rockin' Robin.
Bye Bye, Birdie.
And anything by the Boo Radleys.
