Agreed? I would be happy to have either of them as the next president.
Agreed, but I still find myself leaning to Clinton.
But either of them would do very well as President.
I want them on the same ticket.

Two great candidates

Joe and I are sometimes prone of late to harp on Hillary more than Obama, not that we don't think she deserves it, but still, after watching tonight's debate, I can honestly say that I'd be pleased with either Hillary or Obama as our candidate. It has been years since there's been an election in which I really liked our candidate, let alone liked both of the last two standing. The Republicans are going to have a hard time rallying around any of their candidates, and we have two great ones. Doesn't mean we can't lose this in the end.
Folks, we can lose this. And don't ever forget it. It is not going to be easy. They will fight dirty. They'll call Obama a terrorist sympathizer and Hillary, well, we already know what they'll say about Hillary, they've been saying it for 18 years. The Republicans will be hateful no matter who we go ahead with - it's in their nature - but at least we can rest assured that we're going to have a great candidate no matter. And that's a very nice change of pace.

i was totally inspired by the debate. it showed much more solidarity than division. the day one of them takes office in january will be a great day for our country.
i'll be voting for clinton on tuesday. and i find the idea of voting clinton/obama in november very enticing :)
Hillary was well spoken, and I truly enjoyed how she calmly handled even the pointed questions. Obama seems overwhelmed at times, but I believe he is an individual of greater character. It is really great to have so much opportunity to hear the candidates speak.
I like them both, but I think Hillary would be a better president. She is smart, tough and seems better organized. He's likeable but I have more confidence in her. Bottom line -- I want the Republicans out of the White House.

It was nice to see them actually debating and not just squabbling. I'm still for Hill.
Do you think that either of them will choose the other as the running mate or will they feel the need to pick a white male?
sesot - the first part of your question was actually asked...
A Dream Ticket?

Either of them would be a good choice but I still would prefer Hillary.
Thanks for posting popular.
People keep saying that a Clinton/Obama or an Obama/Clinton ticket would be a Dream Ticket but somehow I just don't see that happening.
Egos for both are pretty big and one might feel that the other could possibly overshadow them.
They are both from Chicago so that might not work in their favor.
At this point when people are torn between the two it sounds like a good idea but if there is a clear winner before the convention other names (many other names) will be coming up for consideration.
I don't think Hillary would take a VP position, nor would anyone pick her. She's too polarizing. I would love to see her pick Obama as a running mate though, that would be fantastic.
"Nice try, Wolf" Brill!
I'm still for Hillary also, and didn't Obama say he wouldn't accept a VP position?
BOTH of them said they would not accept a VP position. I think a person who is running would be stupid to say they would accept the position for fear of people seeing them in that position and not at the top of the ticket. I expect, however, that either of them would accept it if offered.
no way she takes the veep slot. if she loses the nod (fat chance), she'll finish out her term in the senate and either run again or maybe just walk away disgusted with the both the democrats and the american people.
he would leap at the shot at the veep slot. he'd leap at the opportunity to shave her legs if it came with an official title.
Obama boy here...but they both are good choices.
I'd prefer someone who doesn't have alot of baggage and doesn't raise buckets full of cash for the other side.
Huge Obama supporter who has no problem opining that he'd be a big fool if he turned down a VP slot. I also think his options are narrower than hers when it comes to picking a running mate. He has very little margin for error in that regard and Hill would not add value on the undercard.
Hill-Obama works, Obama-Hill absolutely not!
Now that's no remote chance of a Gore-Obama ticket, I'm holding out for Obama-Sebelius which flies in the face of conventional wisdom. This btw is not a conventional race to the White House.
I think he should take it too--but I think she'll ask Bill Richardson, who is truly the MOST qualified candidate we had.
This is my dream team taking into account the order of succession:
Prez - Barack Obama
VP - Kathleen Sebelius
Speaker of the House - Nancy Pelosi
President pro tempore of the Senate - Hillary Clinton
Sec of State - Bill Richardson
Sec of Treasury - John Kerry
Sec of Defense - Ret Gen Wesley Clark
AG - John Edwards
...
Sec of Homeland Security - Janet Napolitano
