Speaking of the Supreme Court, if the Republicans retain the White House, Janice Rogers Brown will mos def be on the short list. They will dare a Democratically-controlled Senate to shoot her down. The Hill-Obama gender/identity politics are pale in comparison to that ensuing showdown.
Many of you will recall that Ms Rogers Brown was appointed to the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit which seems to serve as the proving ground for eventual high court appointees. Senator Obama was oppossed to her nomination. I only hope it doesn't come back to bite him in the keyster.

Posted: 2/1/08 at 1:41pmi have never once voted for a republican, but if Hillary is the nominee I will absolutely vote for the republican (save Huckabee who doesn't have a shot in hell anyway). I think having Hillary would not only be a disaster for the country, but I also think she will set the feminist movement back two decades or so.

Javero I finally got to see Ms Sibelius in action, delivering the Democratic response to the State of the Union. She makes Walter Mondale seem spontaneous and dynamic. I hate to be the one to tell you but she is never going to be on a national ticket. Her only hope is that someone would appoint her Secretary of Agriculture in exchange for a very large donation.
And what potential Republican President would you see appointing Brown to the supreme court? McCain? Not hardly. Of course, that presupposes a Republican Win in 2008 which is becoming more and more unimaginable each day.

Har-dee-har-har. What a great game to prop up men's obsession with being *ss-raped in prison. The creator of this endeavor, John Sebelius, is the son of the governor of Kansas. Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has said of her 23-year-old spawn's efforts that she and her husband, U.S. Magistrate Judge Gary Sebelius, 'are very proud of their son John's creativity and talent' used to give birth to the prison-themed 'Don't Drop the Soap.' (Chicago Sun-Times):
John Sebelius is selling the game on his Internet site for $34.99, plus packaging, shipping and handling. The contact information on the Web site lists the address of the governor's mansion. Corcoran said the address will change when John Sebelius moves.
The game also goes on sale starting Jan. 31 at a shop called Hobbs in the college town of Lawrence.
The site describes 'Don't Drop the Soap' as a game 'Where no one playing enters through the front door!'
'Fight your way through 6 different exciting locations in hopes of being granted parole,' the site says. 'Escape prison riots in The Yard, slip glass into a mob boss' lasagna in the Cafeteria, steal painkillers from the nurse's desk in the Infirmary, avoid being cornered by the Aryans in the Shower Room, fight off Latin Kings in Gang War, and try not to smoke your entire stash in The Hole.'
I'm sure if Sebelius ran commercials on the Spike TV channel, he's sell these out in a flash.

however, if somehow huck were to get the nomination and - horror of horrors - win...i would serve as press secretary. because...well, why not? nothing i could say would be any worse than what he did and i could do fun stuff like shoot david gregory with a super soaker everytime he tried to speak, declare helen thomas dead and have her romoved from the room, post a wwjd (what would jeff gannon do) poster, start each press conference with "good afternoon you commie scum and america hating blank sticks" and answer questions by laughing hysterically and responding, "repeast after me: president huck-a-bee."

1. Janice Rogers Brown IS horrible but now and 7 years out POTUS/VP, cabinet and lower court appointments will be about the right mix of apples and oranges.
2. I'm a registered DEMOCRAT
3. Sebelius has gray hair to offset Obama's puerile profile
; governs the great state of KS; is the daughter of a former governor of the great SWING STATE of OH; has no presidential aspirations of her own and most importantly as far as I'm concerned has a spotless record as FISCAL conservative.
4. Sebelius has no WAR vote that can be held against her by Indies
5. Both parties have propped up duds in the past as VPs, e.g Dan Quayle, the whole Mondale/Ferraro ticket
6. We gotta win 270 electoral votes by hook or crook
7. If Hill is the Dem nominee, Bloomberg will play spoiler
8. The party can ill afford to show any trace of an anti-female/anti-black stance going into the general election
9. Both Obama and Clinton SCREAM blue state; we Dems in the blue states alone cannot carry either to victory in the general election
10. Lest we forget Obama's deceased mom was a Kansan!
