The "I hate deer!" thread's demise is up there.

Borstal, That actually came in at #13, but judges ruled that the thread itself gave so much joy that it counteracted some of the despair when it was killed.
I still miss that thread.

Does Hiroshima count as part of WWII, or is it big enough to get it's own number?
Cause right now, it's a tossup between that and Brendan Stryker's untimely demise.
The stagehand strike should be number one. Seriously, you're so out of touch. And Raul Esparza losing the Tony is so much worse than a mere number ten!
14. Papa's back.
No sh*t, em!
That gets the top spot of the last TOP 10 REASONS WHY IT'S HATEFUL DAVID HYDE PIERCE WAS EVER BORN.

Em, the strike is so large, so unimaginable a horror that it is broken into 437 separate entries, including # 1,284: Strike causes me to miss that Jersey Boys' guy's last performance" and #4,118 "Striking stagehand spills coffee on my favorite Gap Hoodie."
All Aspects of WWII, including Pearl Harbor, Holocaust, Japanese Interment camps and the start of the Atomic Era are all included into one Horrible thing.

Think of it this way, the Strike is so horrific that it couldn't possibly be covered by one thread; This list is no different.
And the closing of Raku came in at #827. It would have been #662 but the judges ruled the story of Corrine's parasitic worm a separate entry (#4367).

I don't see "Melanie Griffith as Roxie Hart" anywhere on the list?!?!?!
Or that whole thing about Miss Patti losing that Tony.

Melanie is #7423 and Miss Patti is unrepresented. Sorry. "Bernadette losing to What'sherface" is #4,634, behind the Assassination of Lincoln and right above the Niger Famine of 1962.
You got to admit, they did a pretty thorough job. A LOT of Broadway fans on the committee.
9-11
OK, but where is "Cats passes A Chorus Line as Broadway's longest running show"???
Broadway Legend Joined: 12/31/69
Elphaba, it is an international list, so 9-11 only ranked #47. "Cats" is #14. That includes all productions, the 'longest running show' title and that awful awful Barbra Streisand 'Memory.'

Stalin and the 20 million russians he killed?
Beubonic Plague?
China and the 10s of millions killed in the xfr to communism?
All pale in comparison to the Big Broadway Strike of 2007.

One offense was too horrid to overlook:
#32 Acid washed Denim
I'm f*cking flattered!
My thread deletion was worse than acid washed jeans?!
It makes typing with my hoofs all worth while!
Why do I become delirious the moment I see that robbiej has reappeared?
And is it contagious?
