He kind of looks a young Ted Allen (Queer Eye food and wine guy) in your av, Fiction Writer.
Haha, blue, on TWOP they call him Ted Ilan because of that very resemblance...
Last time I saw Ted, he had this really scary beard. I didn't like it.
What's TWOP?

Really? And here I was patting myself on the back for being original! lol.
I wonder how Emily would have fared on this episode, since she hates the fatties and all.
Emily reminded me a white trash crackhead.
And I'm basing this on her looks alone.
FW, TWOP is televisionwithoutpity.com, a site that gives funny, satirical recaps of tv shows. Their Top Chef coverage is actually pretty funny.
I bet Emily would have sh*t a brick at both of this week's challenges. She hates fatties AND kids - so, fat kids? Look out!

TWOP is Television Without Pity www.televisionwithoutpity.com. Hysterical and detailed recaps of many TV shows, including Top Chef. The stuff is brilliant saracasm. And I love how they call him "Ted Ilan." Clever!
Doesn't Bravo rerun TC tonight?
I am sorry if anyone addressed me with a question, today has been a bit crazy.
I just wish Betty had been more honest. I don't remember the panel even talking about the cookies she made.
Just another reason to like you FW!
WEEEE!!!
My mom used to make them around Christmas and we'd have tons of these tin container things filled with them.
I tried to make them last year, but they didn't turn out too hot.
Do you happen to have a good recipe I could "borrow"?
I make a wicked Snickerdoodle.
The trick for me is making sure you soften the butter first, and then to use a cinnamon sugar mix for the top, pat them down with a little water on your fingers before you put the cinnamon sugar on them.
I also put a healthy dose of cinnamon in the batcb while I mix.
If I can find the recipe tonight, I will send it to you.

I've never tasted a Snickerdoodle cookie, but I love the scented Yankee Candle.
Ok, so while I understand that they had to kick 2 people off at some point, and I was extremely glad to see Marisa go, I do not agree with Josie going. It was the first time she had ever been in the bottom three, and if her dish being a disaster was reason enough, explain to me how Michael is still on the show.
Did the guest judge remind anyone else of Sandra Bernhard?
It was sad to see Josie go. Any bets on who will be the next to hear those six words?
I am glad 2 went. Let's trim the fat. No one is stellar and honestly, I am bored this season. Something is missing this season and I can't put my finger on it. I can already name the finalists. Clifford, Sam and Ilan. It's too easy.
Yes, Jac the guest judge was Sandy-licious. She was also really blunt. Ouch!!!! Hate to work for her.
It was awesome to see Jenn Coolidge on. I LUV Her.
Those are also my picks for the final 3 Betty, last night's show was a bit of a snooze fest. But getting to see Ms. Coolidge was a real plus.
"Too much saffron. But it was good. But the Saffrom overkill. I liked it. It was delicious. But enough with the saffon." Ok, Miss Bernhard, we get it. You're a better chef. :)
Not to mention that saffron is rather pricey!
I fell asleep during the show (and I wasn't very happy because I sort of wanted to catch up). That is really sad that they auf'd Josie. I liked her personality and I thought she was a pretty good chef.
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables
Josie's smile and laugh were the best. A really nice spirit. Too bad she got paired up with the Vampira of Pastry kitchens.
Josie was one of my daughter's favs. Marisa always seemed to have "I just ate a mouse" look about her.
It just cracks me up that Marisa is a dessert chef and I don't think she managed to make one edible creation and she ALWAYS went the dessert route. That's pretty embarrassing.
