Thanks for that! I MUST see them at MSG! I simply must! The announcment was postponed because of a family crisis with The Edge, right? And that sucks for you - but hey you'll be in Europe!
P.S. Did you type all that out?
Well the rumor was someone in The Edge's family was ill, but their publicist said that wasn't true, even though the tour really was going to be postponed.
Oh, and speaking of seeing them at MSG, they'll be there during my birthday and I doubt after Europe I'll be able to go. I would seriously consider postponing my trip to go - but then I'd be choosing between Bono or Ewan McGregor, and that just ain't fair. My hopes are up to see them in Vegas in November, but I would die a happy gal if I could see them at MSG.
ETA: And no, I didn't type all that out. I cut and paste - I know how to spell "Boston", for one thing...
Not meaning to bump this, but I just noticed there's a few cities playing two different times of year (ie. NYC, Boston and Philly in March and October). Is that normal? You greedy bastards get to see them at MSG 9 times???
Hey Tiff, thanks for the Tour Dates!!! I too have heard on the radio and read online that they tour has been postponed...I guess we shall just have to wait and see, but it's still exciting to see a tentitive set of dates! I wish there was an outline of the ticket prices up somewhere, so I could start figuring that out. Obviously it's going to be really expensive, but I can always keep my fingers crossed that there are quasi-affordable nosebleeds!!! Especially w/ 9 dates at MSG. Maybe I could splurge for good tix to one let of the tour and get something cheaper for the other...hmmmm...
Thanks so much Tiff for the tour dates. I'm going to try and see them multiple times at MSG. I've never seen them live and I HAVE to for this tour. :)
Someone remind me in, you know, AUGUST that U2 will be in Cleveland in September :)
I just read that the Edge's daughter has leukemia, and that's why the tour may be/has been postponed...who knows if that's true, but like Ellie3, I'd heard on the radio that they were putting the tour off due to a family crisis. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hope all is well w/ the band and their loved ones, and whether they have to put the tour on hold or not, I look forward to seeing them when the time is right.
Thanks so much for sharing, Tiff! I have to see them in MSG. I'm confused, though. If it was pushed back, does that mean each concert date is pushed back 28 days? Because the dates there start March 1st, not 28th. Maybe I'm just being stupid.
Well initially it was supposed to be March 1 in Miami and now they're tentatively saying March 28 in LA. I don't know if that means everything between March 1-27 has been cancelled/re-scheduled. I'm *hoping* everything is pushed back by 4 weeks so I'll be home in time to see them, but that's just selfish wishful thinking on my part. (I can't believe I'm missing out on the Scissor Sisters and now this!!) I'm seriously considering flying to Vegas, LA/Anaheim/SJ or NYC to see them live if I can't catch them in Vancouver though.
I've just checked my schedule and I have a problem too, Tiff. I'll be in Australia when they're in NYC and I'll be in NYC when they're in Australia. Figures. I hope it's all pushed back. I don't want to have to end up travelling somewhere far away to see them.

Where's my Bono pic?????? I take it you can't see it either, Tiff? Where'd he go? Remember how he was nodding and winking the other day? And now he's walked off completely! Strange happenings are afoot! It's like the Harry Potter books!
What's that little squiggle thing sticking out on the right side of the bww.com logo in the top left corner?
And did you see what I posted on the random/angst thread? Rumor has it that there might be another opener if not Kings of Leon...brace yourself....
The Scissor f-ing Sisters!

That's the Little Women logo, Tiff! Little Women, Schlittle Schwomen - it should be //u2, baby!
are they even coming to Miami? i don't see it listed in your first post Tiff. i have to go see them!!!
I don't see any Miami date either, Marquise! Don't fret though - this is only the first leg, and they're supposed to be hitting N. America again in September. Otherwise, you best start booking your tickets to NYC or Boston! (Which is what I'm considering doing on my way back from London.)
YAY!!!
I'll be able to see them at MSG!!! (If I can get tickets). I can't wait, they're my favorite band in the world and I've never seen them live. So who else is going to MSG?

OH MY GOOOODDDDD!!!!!!! IF THE SCISSOR SISTERS ARE GOING TO PERFORM I THINK I WILL PISS MYSELF!!!!!! they are so good!
I concur. I was actually in your current state like, 2 hours ago. I was about to buy scalper tix to their show next week, but if I can see them open up for f-ing U2, I would shat myself, to be frank.
When they say general admission floor seating, they mean they've gutted out the seats and it'll be standing, right?
Also, are you guys members of the fan club? I'm wondering if it's worth it to get in on the pre-sale.

I'm still hoping for Ashlee or JoJo on the opening front myself.
