I don't think that's totally horrible. I was tempted to buy Tampa GAs to pay for all my tix...until I realized I'd only selected one instead of a pair. I'm sure I still could have sold it, but it seemed less likely than for a pair, so I opted not to risk getting stuck w/ a random ticket for FL!

Heh, and in retrospect, I bet you realized you probably could have made enough for one Tampa GA to pay for both October MSG shows and possibly the May one, huh?

It hasn't been posted on TM yet though. Dammit bugger SH*Te! Elton's in MSG 2 weeks before the boys are, and then he's in Lousiana on the weekend of November 4!

Meh. If I can get floor seats to LV, that will probably pay off my MSG tickets and part of my airfare!

I'm awfully tempted to stay in a fancy-shmancy hotel room for one of the nights in MSG--it being my birthday weekend and all. I don't think I'm in the position to go out on the glamorama though!

I would love to go to Vegas and see U2, Elton and Celine on consecutive nights. That would be tres amazing.

Totally sucks that Elton's in NYC two weeks before you're coming...sucked even more that the tix went on sale the same day as U2 MSG. It's a good thing Elton was already sold out by the time I got around to checking after U2, because buying 6 tickets (albiet cheapies) in an hour is way too much!!!

*snickers at Tiff's fantasy world in which she actually believes she'd be able to waltz up and grab a pair of GAs for Vegas* (REALLY, Tiff!...I love your optimism, but...I doubt it! I'm thinking MSG hard for LV GAs!)

Yeah, I'm thinking LV GAs are probably out of the question. (By the way, did you know MSG is only about 18k seats? That's the same size as GM Place! Strangely, MSG just seems larger on TV.) How many seats are at the MGM? It seems like that's another really good venue where any seat is a good one!

I have a feeling you could sell just about any pair on eBay for a significant profit. Vegas seemed to be one of the major cities (on interference at least) that people were complaining about being skipped thus far. And but of course, yes, a girl can dream! I would just be shocked if you came up w/ a pair (though you never know. How many prop/U2 members have pre-sale codes left to use? I wouldn't think too many...not that that really matters w/ scalpers, etc)...Besides, you know if you did get a pair of GAs, you wouldn't want to sell them!

Ha! You're so right! I'm sure if I actually was miraculous enough to score GAs, I'd be planning my trip to LV that very day! (Ohhhh...but wouldn't it be cool?)

Ellie, to be honest, if I could get very discounted tickets (HA!), I wouldn't mind seeing The Scary Quebecoise, just to say I did.
