Where are you seeing the youth sizes/designs, Mabel?
Maybe I'll just get a poster or a program at the end of the show or something. do you think the poster will change to reflect the current city, or will they all stay "San Diego March 28 & 30"? :-/

What does the souvenir program look like? Anyone see it?
I love collecting programs, I do.
*beams like an idiot*
Did you see how much that War shirt cost, Tiff?!?!?! I've got to admit, I don't get this Vintage business. Are they faux-vintage or are they "vintage style"??? Unless they're from a single box that has survived since '83, 90 bucks is NUTS!
You know, sometimes the jokes against you just write themselves.
I know! And the $80 Joshua Tree one?! I wonder if, like the tickets, the merch prices will be the same in Vancouver, just in Canadian dollars. (i.e. CAD$35-CAD$90) Somehow I'm thinking it's vintage "style". What, making it look old? Thanks for nothing!

I don't think I'd buy any of those shirts anyway, I mean...who actually wears them?

The youth shirt's on the first merch picture on the far left. It's black w/ a small V, peace sign, and bomb.

I never buy shirts from concerts...they're too damn expensive, but since I'm going all out on this tour, I figured I might buy one. However, for $35 I'd want to love it...and I definitely don't love any of these. There were 3 or 4 shirts from REM's tour that I'd have really liked and worn on a regular basis (actually kicking myself now for not buying one...haven't seen any on eBay either )

I don't LOVE any of these either, but I like them better than the tour ones (yeah, that gian V one is pretty heinous!)

Oh, I'm just realizing that the circle-y one I liked is the giant V one, but the other way round. Meh, like I was going to buy it anyway. Bono, you're rich enough!
The youth one isn't too bad, even look it looks kind of child-ish. I feel like I HAVE to buy some memento though since it's a once-er-twice-er-thrice-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Maybe I'll buy the youth tee in Seattle, and a programme and/or a cap at MSG.

So what do you think about my Bono as Pope idea?
Beware...you'll look like you work at Tarjay if you buy the hat!
I think it would be a shame to have a man like that have to abstain from sex with eager, easy Asian girls.
Does THIS work??:
Nope
Ew, is that a TARGET on the cap?
Alrighty then, programme and keychain it is! :-/
Yeah...it's a target, and it looks like the very center is a heart.
This?

Oh and Ellie, re: the Pope, I read yesterday that Bono isn't Catholic. I don't know if it's true or not (somewhere on interference in one of the Pope's passing threads) Something about one of his parents was Anglican and the other was Catholic, and he was raised Anglican...Je ne sais pas!
I give up. You'll just have to put up with my inane ramblings as I try poorly to describe the photos for you!
There was a minor kerfuffle too when he made reference to him being like Jesus at one of the concerts last week. Well, call me Mary Magdelene!
