I might have to lose 5% per day. Prof's out of town until Monday - I don't know if she'll check the sites before then.
OY! U2 MGM second show on sale next Saturday! *whoot* http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0A003A84A25971E7?artistid=736365&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
*rubs hands in anticipation* I don't think there's a presale so it'll be everyone lunging for the tix that day!

Good ol' Tiff. Does she never learn?
No.
Okay fine. I'll try for GA or bust. Nothing else.
*strokes TicketBastard fondly*
Oh, 11/5 GAs are mine.
(Do you think I'll be able to sell my LV tickets? )

I'm sure you will. I mean, you were shrieking about it only selling out in an hour and a half....my God, their career is OVER!
An hour and a half!!!! Every other place (aside from Chicago) was in under 20 minutes! SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH THAT!!
*not worked up*
Hey gals!
Groupie, congrats on your Vegas tix! That'll be a fun trip!! I'm so glad it looks like all the MSG ticketing is totally done, so I don't have to worry about any more temptation. Tiff, you seriously seem like some sort of sick addict w/ tickets! Crazy, crazy!!! I'll probably try to pick a single up for MSG in November, but that's it. I'm totally done! I hope after all this you can sell your extras to put a dent in paying the MSG/Seattle tix off. You made out halfway decent w/ the Vancouver ones, didn't you?
Quite decent - A $130 increase ain't too bad, is it? W-w-well, me? Sick addict? Moi? Okay, but when you think about it, I'm doing it:
a) To sell some at face value to real fans.
b) To sell starting at face value on eBay to pay for my tickets.
So it's part altruistic, and part practical! It's not like I'm one of those psychos who spendings hundreds on a ticket stub for a concert they didn't go to! *yet*

Hey...
What would you galsys say is the 'typical U2 fan'? Will it be a bunch of 30something males, or younger fabulous ladies like ourselves?

Don't get me wrong, I totally see where you're coming from. You've just got way more stamina and patience than I have when it comes to ticketing! I'm sure it'll all end up working out in your favor in the end (I mean it would. You'll either end up getting all your money back selling the tix at face, or you'll sell on eBay for a profit of some size as long as you don't start the bidding low in hopes of drawing bidders from the start).
$130 isn't bad at all. That was Canadian though, right? So hell, at least it pays for one ticket. If you can do that on another, it's like only having to pay for the flight, etc. Oh, and if push came to shove w/ B_S_T falling through for a place to crash, you could probably spend a night or two at my dorm. I'll have a couch. They limit you to two nights w/o having to go through some whole rigamorole (??) w/ paperwork and stuff. Just know that's an option should the whole b'day at the Waldorf fall through!
Quick! I'm selling my friend's tickets - starting bid $126 (she bought them, couldn't use them, but is too lazy to sell them herself so she told me to sell them for her and keep whatever profit I make) - someone's e-mailing me with an offer for $200 if I sell him the tickets for tomorrow. What do you think?
Wait. What? The tix are for tomorrow in San Jose? What are they, a pair of $50 tix?

Nope, it's for Vancouver, 4/29. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16122&item=6524510818&rd=1
The auction doesn't end till next week but the guy told me he needs tickets by April 15 for a birthday present and he's offering to pay me $200 tomorrow if I end the auction early and give it to him.
Yeah, I think I'd say go for it too. If they're face at $128, and you could just have it all done and over w/. It's a quick and easy $70 profit on your part.

I say go for it! $64 fo nothing ain't bad!
*ROTF* It's so clear you both are English majors. $70? $64? Ladies, $200 - $126 = $74
Mabel was closer.
*still snickering*
Okay, I guess I'll go through with it.
Personally, I think I'd go for it. I know you've got 6 days left on it, but you've only had 20 hits, no bids...what are the others in Vancouver going for?
The other ones in Vancouver are pretty paltry, actually. Even GAs are having trouble selling. I think when 4/29 was released, the newbie fans weren't aware that it happened, and all the scalpers waited and bought them up. So now there's all these scalper tickets and no one willing to pay above face value.

Okay, maybe my karma is telling me to let these ones go for $200. Sort of a good deed, right?
I was just approximating w/ my $70. And what are you crazy w/ free shipping?!?!? That's where you make all the money. Charge $12 for priority shipping that costs you a buck or two! Geez.

Yeah, sort of a good dead, and it's not like you won't be making a profit. Damn the Canadian conversion rate though. I'm so confused. So is that really like $30-something (US) or is it REALLY $70 (as in the profit you make on this could pay for one of your tix)???
I know, I would normally plump up the shipping fees, however it's TicketFast, and I can't exactly convince someone to pay $12 S&H fees for me to forward them an email, can I?
