Basically, we're like, 0.8 of one US$1, so it's roughly US$60 I'm making. Bummer because the concert tix cost CAD$50 or US$50 depending on the location!

Skank? Moi??? I'd totally jack up shipping if for no other reason than the fact that I've pait through the nose on shipping on eBay more often than I care to divulge. My favorite is the new trend of buying CDs and DVDs where they ship in a paper sleeve (sorry, but the art work is part of the DVD. Who wants a movie w/o the case and art work?!?!?). So, they'll ship in a paper sleeve, claiming it's to reduce shipping costs and still charge $5!!! I want to just e-mail them all and bitch at them!!! GRRRRR!!!

Ew. $5 for a CD in a paper case? Ouch. One time I was buying a Bway boot off someone and they asked for $5 S&H. When I said I was in Canada, they made it $7. I looked at the postage sticker - $1.20.

OK, well I suppose w/ a ticketfast ticket you can't really jack up shipping!

Hell, it'd still pay for one of your other tix. That's like two paid for already, right? So, if you can make a bit on the Vegas ticket(s) you'll have at least paid for all of your own tickets. I know it's not as nice as financing the whole trip, but tis better than nothing!

Ooooohhhh, I HAAAAATTTTE that! Jacked up shipping makes me just want to tear someone a new one...But, everyone does it! I suppose if I were selling on eBay, I would too. Actually, it's not so bad when you pay a lot and it gets there right away. It's more when you pay an arm and a leg and they send it media mail and it takes 3 weeks to get to you. That's when I really get pissed.

Tiff, buying BWay footwear on eBay. Tsk, tsk! I try to avoid buying boots, since they're usually around somewhere for trade or B+P. I lost your want list, but I think I had a couple things that were on it. I'll try to hook you up sometime this summer, when I have some spare time. I suppose it's probably a bad idea to be typing this...oh well, you can read it and I can edit it out later.

No eejit, I didn't buy the Bway footwear from eBay. Eww. I bought it off a guy on one of the Broadway boot trading lists. I haven't bought boots ina while (this one wasn't really a boot - it was the Chicago film DVD) - usually my list is extensive enough that I can trade it with osmeone. I haven't been trading actively lately though so my list is pretty outdated.

Yeah, I haven't been doing much trading either (mostly concert CDs now, since I have a CD burner at school). I went crazy last summer. I suppose there are worse things to be "addicted" to.

That's true. I actually feel guiltier selling Bway videos than, say, Hollywood movies or CDs or something. I'd be happy just selling for the cost of the tape and S&H, if only other people weren't making it into a business. So then you sort of HAVE to sell to stay competitive, because you know the person you sell to at cost will likely be making $20/copy offa it!

Hi gals!

Did y'all hear about Bono and the IRA?? Apparently, Bono was a major target for them in the 80s. Him and the other three lads were even finger & toe-printed by the Irish police, as a security measure. And, get this!, Bono was once in a cafe in Ireland. And fifteen minutes after he left, it only bloody exploded!! To think, what would we be doing in October then??

Hey ladies,

Someone on eBay is selling footwear from the San Diego and Anaheim shows for $2 including s/h. I ordinarily don't like buying boots, but frankly at this price, it's like doing a B+P trade. I picked up Anaheim 1 from April 1st, since that looked like an interesting show (the only one thus far to feature ISHFWILF/the entire set list was mixed around). Just figured I'd toss that out there in case any of you might be interested! Hmmm...wonder if s/he'll still be doing this for the NYC/Boston shows???

Sorry I haven't been here in a while ladies, I had a friend staying with me for the weekend. I hope I didn't miss anything important, I don't feel like sifting through the pages that I missed!

The Killers tickets go on sale tomorrow at 11am...I won't be here then, but I'll be back at like 12 and hopefully they'll have some left (I really have no idea how quickly they go). It's only the presale, so its no biggie if I have to wait 'til the regular sale. Mabel, are you still possibly interested? If so, I'll check the price when I get back and PM you or something to see if you're up for it. If you don't want to go, just let me know, that's fine!

Well, I picked up Anaheim 1, and I'm getting San Diego 2 (groupie's show ) from someone else, so if you pick up one of the others (Anaheim 2 or SD 1, we could swap...it'd be kind of silly to get the same one(s), right?)

Yeah, I'm not sure about that. The one I did Buy it Now for said, Anaheim 1April, and when I did the checkout w/ the "send seller additional info." or whatever it's called, I just specified that I wanted Anaheim 1 from April 1st. The rest all just seem to say the cities w/o the date, and they say in the description that both cities are available. I'm not sure???

Just bumping this because I got the CDs in the mail today, #1! I have to admit, I didn't recognize the name on the envelope and I held off from opening it for a bit, thinking... "Is this anthrax? A bomb? Who wants me dead? Okay, who doesn't want me dead? What could this be??"
