Mr. V, yer little speachifyin' brought a genuine tear to the eye of this savage, serial molester of Broadway chorus boys. You've inspired me to top my own personal record of ten abductions and assaults in a week. That's over one a day! I just been procrastinating about doin' it on account of all the scratching and bitin' they do. I sure get sore some but hell, if they didn't have that spunk I wouldn't have subdued them and forced them into my garbage bag lined trunk anyway. Am I right?

I gotta say: Right Said Rick's icon is one of the most tasteless pics I have ever seen. What's next -- an icon of a beheading in Iraq or a lynching in the segregated South? Why not just post a pic of Matthew Shepard on the fence? Or a picture of the people who jumped from the World Trade Center?

I know it's done to provoke and to be obnoxious, but do you all realize what that picture is? It's one of the most searing and disturbing images of the 1960s.

Where is our decency when that kind of icon is acceptable but a picture of a shirtless guy is removed by the moderators? Seems like the priorities of what is offensive seem to be very skewed.

Sorry about the soapbox, fellas, but this thoroughly disgusts me.

Zola does have a point, but I know in my heart that RSR wasn't thinking clearly and surely did not mean to offend anyone. And, I know that he will change his icon as soon as he reads this stuff if he hasn't already.

It's just part and parcel of the insanity of censorship and what is deemed socially acceptable in this country: violence is ok but sex is not. A Vietnamese guy having his head blown off is tolerated but my butt shot (even if clad in Calvins) is deleted within seconds. Ostensibly, this is a "family" site and "people complain" about such things.

I'm emigrating.
