The radio host suggested that maybe they open as a sort of "Dick's Last Resort" where they treat the customers like crap on purpose, the PR guy said the difference is that those abusive places have great food and Amy's doesn't. Again, one day before taking them on as clients.

They should change the name of the place to One Table @ A Time. Like the Hour Glass Tavern, but instead of hour glasses over the tables, they could give chalk to the customers and they could put an X on the wall for every hour that passes between placing their orders and finally getting them.

A Scottsdale public-relations firm headed by Jason Rose explained in a news release that a law firm representing the producers of “Kitchen Nightmares” warned the Bouzaglos against making disparaging remarks about the show or its star, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Rose's firm announced on Monday that it no longer would be representing the Bouzaglos.

I guess Jason Rose was right when he said they were beyond help.

On Tuesday, Amy’s opened to a thin crowd and began serving those holding reservations at 5 p.m...

I had a feeling they were overstating the huge numbers of reservations.

On Tuesday, Samy and Amy talked about their past records and indicated Samy had served time in prison before immigrating to the United States 13 years ago. Reached by phone as they drove to their restaurant Tuesday morning, Amy and Samy each tried to talk over the other -- interrupting, yelling and even cursing one another as the conversation continued.
