Well..... nobody has to wait 90 minutes for their cupcake or their soup.
They COULD"VE spun it that way SNAFU, but that would mean letting other people learn such complicated things as order placing, and god forbid, money handling. Of course, a thief like Samy doesn't trust others to handle the money because he thinks they will all steal like he does.
Good points about the unions. It never occurred to me that there are reasons to be asked about that. I do work as a non-union actor, so the union question would be an automatic no for me.
Good point Namo. It is hard to create a chain based on two mentally ill owners I guess. The restaurant will do fine for a spell. I know I for one would drop by there for lunch to see the show if Iived near by. I love train wrecks, would look at it as performance Art.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. MAY 15, 2013 -- Amy’s Baking Company will host a Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday night, May 21, following unflattering portrayals on national television.
Customers will be able to decide who is correct: a famous celebrity chef or the marketplace that has supported the small, locally-owned business for six years.
When re-opened, a portion of proceeds will benefit a charity organized to bring awareness to cyber bullying.

I wish I was in Scottsdale. I have a hankering for some frozen ravioli.

Poisonous, viperous, so-fired-right-now Katy has been doing an "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit:
How bad was it really, Katy?
When re-opened, a portion of proceeds will benefit a charity organized to bring awareness to cyber bullying.
I'm sorry, I just had to re-post that line so we could all take a sec to enjoy the delicious irony.

Did you notice it's a press release and they have a pr person now? Speaking of bullying, maybe Amy can apologize to the man her husband put his hands because she called the guy a pansy?
I laughed about where they were donating some money. Yeah, they are just plain bullies in general. Both cyber and real life.
Jane Weidlin (sp?) from the Gogos just posted in Facebook that she is moving to Scottsdale so she can eat there everyday. F*CK yes.
I can't screen capture on my phone.
And Jane Wiedlin is a dominatrix, so that could add a whole new element to the restaurant.

Interesting comment from Katy (the fired girl) regarding the filming:
"the episode was shot in december so quite a while ago and none of amy or samy's actions were staged. people may have purposely sent back their food or falsely complained for a chance to be on tv, but that's about it. everything else was 100% real."

That appears to be from the fake account. I've started get the hang of sorting it out now.
still funny
It doesn't matter who is posting what now. It's all pretty entertaining.
Like Phyllis pointed out, what makes it all funny is that the fake crazy isn't so far-fetched.
I do find it interesting that so many didn't watch Kitchen Nightmares because they thought it was all about Gordon screaming. Hell's Kitchen is about Gordon screaming at people. In Kitchen Nightmares, it's almost always the restaurant owners screaming, not Gordon. What I really like about Kitchen Nightmares is that, though Gordon reveals some hard-hitting truths, you really get to see his good side.
Another British series, Hotel GB, sort of balances the good and evil in Gordon (as well as many other British makeover show hosts). I wish we had a version of the show here. It was really quite wonderful to see all these different hosts working together to train the unemployed in running a hotel while raising money for charity.
