This is completely random, but I am looking back through the first thread when Anthony just started posting and a few people mentioned about the bad state of the Rent cast at the Nederlander. I was just curious if it is still in bad shape or if it's gotten better. Is it the same cast?

I'm going to see Rent at the Nederlander in April, so ya know, but I'm sure I'll enjoy myself no matter what/

Edit: I feel the need to tell everyone that the Rent DVD and soundtrack is now being offered through InsightOut, which is a gay and lesbian book club. Also, so is Wicked. And a lot of other interesting things..but that isn't the point! Ok, I'm done.

Mostly I had heard it was really good, but then my friend who has seen practically every tour ever said it wasn't that great. I've heard Mark is pretty good, but Angel not so much and Mimi was pretty bad. I don't know though. We'll see... Anyone seen the tour already who can give a real report?

I saw it twice in Cleveland, and I thought it was excellent. I didn't really have any complaints. I especially thought the people playing Mark and Roger did a good job, but I didn't think any of them were bad.

RENTingFAME- I'm seeing the tour in Chicago on April 12th. At least that's the plan, I'm buying the tickets tomorrow. I'm hoping it's good but since it's the first time I'm seeing the show I'm probably just going to be happy to see it at all.

I just saw the show last Tuesday. The cast is alright..though the show I saw was not that great. I didn't enjoy Tim Howar's Roger. The cast isn't spectacular, but there are definitely some amazing voices.
