My B&N already had them on the shelf, I didn't even need to convince someone to get it for me. My friend that works there said that certain books will have a "hard" on-sale date (Like Harry Potter) but other things are just a suggested on-sale date. They put everything out when they get it unless it's got the "Don't open until..." stickers on them. I guess maybe some stores are just getting them out sooner than others.
Possible advantage of waiting a few days MIGHT be the "New Releases" discount. There were several tables of them with a 20% sticker on them. I asked the guy at the register if I could get the discount since this book was new and he said unless it's got the sticker it doesn't work. So maybe it'll show up as a new release in the computer on Tuesday or something and you'd get a discount.
Anyway, the first half is great ... off to attack part 2. :)

I'm on IE... I uploaded it and resized it on Photobucket.
It does look like a cool movie... The trailer left me very excited to find out what happens.

I wanna see "Scaring the Fish" so badly. Does anyone know if its opening in theatres or DVD or what? It looks really good.
