Wow, long post. And xox Rogue, I adore your icon. Blazing Saddles, right? Hehe.
Yes and no.
If you take 'candygram' alone, it can be from Blazing Saddles.
But, if you look a the picture...it's the land shark. In part of the land shark skit, the shark says: "Candygram".
Here, a transcipt of the part, because I am oh so bored.
[ dissolve to Woman #2 in her apartment ]
[ Music: "Jaws Theme ]
[ a knock at the door ]
Woman #2: [ appoaches the door ] Yes?
Land Shark: [ muffled voice ] Mrs. Arlsbergerhh??
Woman #2: Who?
Land Shark: [ muffled voice ] Mrs. Johnannesburrrr??
Woman #2: Who is it?
Land Shark: [ muffled voice ] Flowers.
Woman #2: Flowers? From whom?
Land Shark: [ muffled voice ] Plumber, ma'am..
Woman #2: I don't need a plumber. You're that clever shark, aren't you?
Land Shark: [ muffled voice ] Candygram.
Woman #2: Candygram, my foot! Get out of here before I call the proper authorities. You're the shark, and you know it.
Land Shark: [ muffled voice ] I'm only a dolphin, ma'am..
Woman #2: A dolphin? Well.. okay..
[ she opens the door, as the shark pulls her screaming into the hallway ]
I never get tired of it.
A litte background, if you will: "the Landshark is considered the cleverest of all sharks. Unlike the great white shark, which tends to inhabit the waters and harbors and recreational beach areas, the Landshark may strike at any place, anytime. It is capable of disguising its voice, and generally preys on young, single women."
It only appeared in one episode, in the first season, but it's a classic.
I couldn't find one where it's eating a woman, so I just used that one.
Shari Lewis: Did you ever wish upon a star?
Lamb Chop: I once asked Mr. Rogers for his autograph.
