But Fantab...my fingers just get SO tired from typing exclamation points!!!!!!!!!! It's necessary to put a million of them after my sentences, or else my point won't come across!!!!!!!

I REALLY have to go upstairs now. I just can't drag myself away ;]

Wow. Off-topic. Well, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner- I just sort of liked the feeling that the people that only came to the boards for thouroughly "on-topic" chats kept seeing our thread at the top.

Anyway, I'm not slow enough that it took me over 3 hours to find this thread- I just finally saw Brokeback Mountain! Snaps for me! Anyway, it was gourgous. But the events leading up to it...so *not* gourgous. Here is a transcript:

MY MOM: Do you want to see Brokeback Mountain?
ME: Oh my god totally let's go YAY!
MY MOM: How much gay stuff is in there do you think?
ME: ...
MY MOM: Because, I mean, if it's a little bit I'll just close my eyes.
ME: ...
MY MOM: But it must have won so many awards for a reason, and...I'm told the scenery is beautiful, and there's horses.
ME: MOM, YOU CAN NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES TO PARTS OF LIFE THAT YOU DON'T DEEM ACCEPTABLE! THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT GAY COWBOYS, NOT PRETTY HORSES AND NICE SHOTS! (etc, etc. As you can see, I kind of blew up).
MY MOM: *is obviously worried* Leondra, is there something you would like to tell me?
ME: *head desk*

Ahem. Sorry. Just had to get this out.

On the capitalization and spelling issue, it annoys me sometimes, but unless someone doesn't use spacing or spells something incredibly stupid wrong, I don't mind. Not that I'm one to talk. I probably spelled capitalization wrong, right there. In fact, knowing me, I probably spelled either 'Brokeback' or 'Mountain' (or both) incorrectly.

Wow, long post. And xox Rogue, I adore your icon. Blazing Saddles, right?

Wow, dramatic. A triple post? I'm impressed. *applause*
And your punishment for that is to fill each of the extra boxes with a funny quote. (Wouldn't I be a good Catholic priest? My pennace is easy.)
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much." "Did you say, 'nonetheless'?" - The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler

I went with an icon instead Free to be Off-Topic I'm more in the mood for pictures, anyway.

And the second one is technically a funny quote, as well. (If this turns out to be anything other than a singular post, I'll cry. I'm just trying to spread the Ant'ny love. Is there any harm in that?)

I was declined for trying to join Inapropothoughts for the 2nd time today. I think one of the mods (Aretheresheep) hates me. If you are reading this I just want you to know. I'm sorry I mistaked Anthony Rapp for being gay and not Bisexual and I'm sorry I took your friends only banner without asking first. I'm just a stupid little 7th grader. I don't know any better. But I really want to join Inapropothought. Please just consider it.
You must think I'm still sixteen. I dropped out of high school for a reason. And I don't care if you're pretty. I'm not admitting you are right. My soul is not a stage. I won't pretend I'm anything I'm not

Do they seriously tell you why they don't let you join?

God, it's like those "no boys allowed!!" clubs in elementary school.

Aww, Emcee, you changed your icon again *is in love with your Brokeback one*

I'm sorry they declined you, Isolating Free to be Off-Topic Unless it's for age (they really *should* have a requirement for that, by the way) there's no reason they should do that. I wouldn't join, though- just steal their pictures. Muhaha.
