Homophobes.
People who say "y'all". I can tolerate when my friends say it, though.

People who don't thoroughly erase a chalk/whiteboard and there's a little bit of a "T" or an "E" or whatever still on there. I absolutely cannot take it. My head actually starts to pound and that's all I can look at. It drives me CRAZY.
Oh, ditto on people who walk slowly in malls or sidewalks and like, the stupid phalanx of 4 who feel the need to walk in a line and hence prevent me from going around them. ARGH.

Poor spelling, grammar, and punctuation on this board. Especially in thread titles. For Christ sake, take a minute to read what you've typed. And if you've misspelled something, learn how to use the edit feature.

My all time pet peeve:
WET SOCKS
I HATE when I step in a little water in the kitchen or if someone didn't dry their feet before stepping out of the shower and I step in it! UGH. I have to immediately change my socks.

Rudeness. This may seem vague, but it covers pretty much all of my pet peeves. There's never a good reason to be disrespectful.
Oh and I really, really hate when my brother has the bass on his radio all the way up and all I can hear is boombooomboomboooooom through the walls. I always have to leave the house when he does that. Which might be reason he does it, now that I think about it....

Posted: 12/31/05 at 1:19pmThis takes the cake-I just went out on an errand, and passed a girl dressed in a heavy coat (it's 34 degrees out), a hat, wool scarf, gloves, and beach flipflops on her feet. That's taking trendiness to a new low!

My newest grammar pet peeve is the misuse of "I."
It's currently popping all OVER the place on sites like Friendster, or anywhere people are labeling photos.
It's commonly played out in such amazing ways as, "Idina and I fighting over the Sharpie."
Quick hint, for those of you unable to know when to use I or Me: If, as above, you're describing yourself and someone else, take the other person out and see how the sentence plays out.
"Me fighting over the Sharpie."
"I fighting over the Sharpie."
Easy? Yes. Do it. Please.

Posted: 12/31/05 at 2:59pmWell, my ex has the most beautiful voice I have heard. She enjoys harmonizing with popular songgs. The problem is, in the car she sings harmony to every song on the radio. At first it was cute. Over the few years we were together and through our friendship since, it has become SO freaking annoying. At times I have wanted to punch her in the teeth.
