Wonderful Christmastime is tough.

But not nearly as hateful as that Christmas Shoes song, or whatever it's called.

aww you are hating on teh chirstmas shows song ...actually the first few times it was cute now it is just like dont depress me!

I despise The Christmas Song (chestnuts roasting) I have never heard a version I like and everyone does...I just hate it

And A Marshmellow World...that one is just odd!

I love Sleigh Ride, but I HATE the Johnny Mathis recording! UGH!!! I also can't stand the Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus song in Spanglish. And Merry Christmas, Darling.

Eww, I hate the Johnny Mathis "Sleigh Ride," too. Totally messes up the tune. I also hate the Ronelles' version, where they just keep singing the same two lines over and over again and move the key up half-step after half-step.

I think that any holiday music, when computerized and played over a horrible sound system, in a department store, grocery store, or worst of all, at the bus stop, is suicidally depressing.

BluCat, for some reason every time I look at your av I think your'e JohnPopa. Why? Who knows. My brain works in mysterious ways.

I hate the ones that sound too "lite" for "Lite FM", to use an NYC-area reference. Like they don't even need conversion to be used as Muzak. Grr.

Those dogs doing Jingle bells makes my skin ache. Also the song about the homeless kid on Christmas Eve - I think it's something like Santa can you Find me...it just breaks my heart.

A few years ago we had a "local talent" ---AKA a 6 year old with overly ambitious parents--who somehow got onto the main pop station singing this song that went ....."Somethin's stuck up in the chimney and I don't know what it is"...and then went on to describe smells coming from the fireplace and lighting a fire......

And then for her next single we were subjected to "I Farted on Santa's Lap"......

Lovely isnt' it????

OOO and I hate Streisand's version of Jingle Bells. She sounds like she is on some odd orgasmic acid trip, and the song only seems wonderful to her.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Blue Christmas and sometimes I'm Dreaming of a white Christmas puts me to sleep after awhile...

I saw mommy kissing santa clause sung by the kid w/ the really annoying lisp...blah.
