Actually, everytime I go audition for a new theatre company, they're always like "You are..? Sorry? Europen? Maybe?" I actually love it when people can't place my ethnicity because they just call me "exotic looking" and it gets me some nice attention during casting.
I use it to my full advantage.

Whitey McWhiterson. I'm about half Irish (the only constant on both sides of the family), a quarter Italian, and the rest is a mashup of English, British, French and God only knows.

I'm only certain that part of my paternal grandfather's side is from Southern Spain, and my paternal grandmother was mostly Nicaraguan native. But other than that... I have blonde cousins, redheads, some are European white, maternal grandmother had green eyes.
