I'd suppose most people can figure out mine...but for those who don't know....it's the name of the character played by Antonio Banderas in the musical "Nine".
"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears."
CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre"
"I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is."

don't diss Raul Julia! He had to be the one of the most amazing actors of his generation. Antonio Banderas only WISHES he had one "inth" of Raul Julia's talent. Those were some mighty big shoes to fill. He's lucky he even got the chance.
uh oh...I'm sorry. I was hoping nobody'd be offended by that. *hangs head and sulks away slowly*

Well my orginality was not working the night I registered so I used the same one I use for a lot of other things I'm registered with. Sweetie Darlin is one of the statements frequently used by one of my favorite television characters, Edina Monsoon from Absolutely Fabulous. If you've never seen the show, I suggest you sprint to Blockbuster and rent the entire series. Oh and MIA is my initials.
A role I played at a Children's theatre early in my career. Moses Goldberg's Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs. The wolf sort of unites the two stories.
Hmmm, The story behind my screename. Well, I love RENT with a passion, and there is a 2 on the end because it told me that there was already a 'NoDayButToday' so I added a number. Which doesn't make sense, because I've never seen a NoDayButToday on the boards before. ::Shrugs::
I have had an almost 30 year affinity for big old theaters (picture palaces)
The biggest of them all was the Roxy in NYC. Same size as Radio City but more ornate. Pounded to dust in the name of progress in 1960 after only 33 years. Gloria Swanson standing in the rubble ( Follies)etc etc.
Mr Roxy is for the theater & the impressario behind it & Radio City
I played Carl Magnus my Junior year in College at Niagara Universtiy. And of course I had to grow a stash for the role. Well during rehearsals one night one of my buddies said, jokingly, I looked like Tom Selleck. We then called the character Carl Magnum for the rest of rehearsal and the nickname stuck.
I got rid of my teeth at a young age because... I'm straight. Teeth are for gay people. That's why fairies come and get them
glad you asked, sonny boy! this name was created when i was 13 and needed a hotmail account. so i thought "HMMMMM... i love michael feinstein.... and nine is my favourite number...and it rhymes..." and i sort of used it for other things after that. nine is, of course, a special number because of the beatle connection. it's sort of a "paul is dead" thing, only it's like, many of their songs and things and their lives have things to do with the number 9. so, feinstein= michael feinstein, 9= beatle number.
I got my name from one of my favorite obscure Elton John songs. I originally started reading the board after seeing and loving Aida, and don't post very much because most of you know a lot more about Broadway than I do. However, ask me anything about Elton John, and I also know a bit about the movie business.
