Yeah, it's gorgeous. There's a lot of good stuff from the 80's/late 70's period that gets overlooked, songs like "In Neon," "Burning Buildings," "One More Arrow" - and "Sleeping With the Past" is one of my favorite albums.

Good to know there's another Elton fan here!

I was a big Thoroughly Modern Millie fan, especially with the talented Sutton Foster, so I just used the name of the title character.

Mine is obviously about marin mazzie. I wanted something that showed how much I loved her as a performer so I thought I'm crazy about marin and just put them together. And I tagged the 11 onto it 'cuz it's my favorite and lucky number and Julie Foudy's (us womens soccer)number. After I made it up I realized marincrazy rhymed with marin mazzie so I thought that was a clever little end result.

Mine's lame. I'm a theatre whore/junkie/groupie, but a decade or so too late for the crazed-teen-fan demographic.

And I like alliteration.

And the acronym for it is GUG which is just a funny sound.

My first name is Jacob. My middle name begins with a T and my last name is hyphenated with the first part beginning with a S and the last beginnig with a F.

As for my avatar Douglas Sills is my favorite actor.

well, THE Buddha is the person that I admire the most, would like to be. The avatar is of a Russian monk that got me, well, lusty to be frank, so, betweeen the name and the avatar I reach the height of gtreatness and the lowness of, let's say, gutter mind. Plus maybe also the fact that I was raised Russian Orthodox and have pretty much supported Buddhist philosophy for some years now.

Well, the "Broadway" part of my username is pretty simple. I'm obsessed with Broadway. And "Diva" because when I joined this board over a year ago, I was still in my "I'm a Diva phase". And my icon is Adam and Daphne as Roger and Mimi.

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

I've wanted to change my username for a while now. Broadway cuz i'm obsessed w/ "Broadway" and "baby" cuz i'm still a young-in (kind of) and 87- year i was born.
I would change it but i'd lose all my credit as "Lead Actor"

I chose my username cos I'm in 42nd Street at the mo & had just got my first job after leaving Uni when I started posting, so "In The Money" seemed appropriate.

My avatar is a backstage pic taken at a local amdram JCS production.

After reading all the interesting ones... my basically means The Costarican...

"El" = the in Spanish
"Tico" is what you call Costaricans because we tend to add that suffix at the end of diminutives... to make them even smaller.
"68" = year I was born.

I didn't want to reference a broadway show in my name because I figured eventually that show wouldn't be my fave anymore and I'd still be stuck with the name. So, I chose MissNY. i'm female and live in NY, pretty simple

My mom wanted to give me two middle names, because she doesn't have one, and she wanted it to be Rose. And MacShane is an old family name on my mom's side (we're very Irish). I liked how the two sounded together, and a screen name was born!
And right now, my avatar is Amy and David Sedaris, or The Talent Family as they're sometimes credited. But usually I have a supersexy picture of Elijah Wood up...mmm...

I've enjoyed reading these!

Andy Hardy is used, obviously, from the Andy Hardy film series that starred Mickey Rooney, et. al. I have always enjoyed those films -- which, I suppose means I like stories where integrity and honesty are in the forefront.

However I am not quite "Andy Hardy" -- as I have never had a man-to-man talk with my father, never worked on my car nor had a string of girlfiends. Truth be told, I am more of a Betsy Booth. :)

The avatar is from the cover of my favorite book, "Heath Ledger; Too Good To Be True" -- and a truer words were never written. A literary masterpiece.
