I adore the Artec Kiwi shampoos and conditioners -- they keep my highlights lasting for several months, so I only have to get them touched up a few times a year -- but, oddly enough, I've had trouble finding them in New York.
Borstal, do you have lots of long hair? (re: the bouncing!)
No, but I pretend it bounces.
Seriously. I wanted to be the Herbal Essences herbal girl when I was a kid...cleansing myself with flowers before wearing them in my luxurious blonde hair, soft-spoken but breezily knowledgeable in the secret botanical alchemy of natures bounty. Sorta like Barbie and Stevie Nicks combined. She rocked.
Anyone else remember Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific?
I can understand that! But look who they have now-SJP. ew. Unless she's finished with that campaign by now.

I switch usually between Pantene, Garnier Fructese, Herbel Essences, Dove and Sunsilk.
However, I don't believe anything any of of them say (hydrating, stays straight, etc...)

Usually whatever's around $1.50 or less. (Conditioner separate.)
Sometimes I buy the big bottles of Mane 'N Tail, or Tail 'N Mane, whichever it's called. It's horse shampoo, but humans can use it too.
whoops, double post

I pretty much use whatever I can find. Recently I've been using this stuff
and I've become absolutely addicted to it. It smells SO amazing. And it's not tested on animals, so yay! The sad thing is that the brand is not going to be around much longer. Today I was in a krogers and there was a sign saying "brand being discontinued, Half price". So of course I bought the rest but there was only one shampoo and one conditioner left, so I'm sad. *small virtual tear* Excuse the rant.

I used Herbal Essences at one point, and it didn't prevent dandruff. I shampooed everyday and had dandruff and I never had dandruff before. It's gross.
I alternate. This morning it was Paul Mitchell Tea Tree.
That stuff feels strong enough to tear through your scalp. It's super clean and I love the tea tree smell, but kinda dries your hair. At least it did for me.
Currently I use Pantene Volume stuff. Maria Menounos uses it!
