Posted: 9/2/13 at 9:23pmA while back I was walking through lower midtown somewhere in the garment district I think or in the twenties, but I passed a shop with a real stuffed African Lion in the window, I think it was an antique shop. Has anyone seen this? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think Obscura has a stuffed lion. I think their big display piece is still the mounted two-headed baby calf. I haven't been there since the grand re-opening so that could have changed.
Now, I wouldn't be surprised to find out Obscura acquired the lion for another business. They did have an episode of their show where they had a custom giraffe/zebra (I think? It definitely had the giraffe neck and a different body) made for a clothing store.
