Awwww... I'm sorry, Shira. I'm cranky, too. Although I didn't get the official word from my agent yet, I heard through the grapevine that I didn't get the role I've been auditioning for. I also heard, "it was such a hard decision, they were fighting in the room about it, blah, bah, blah," which is nice, but that doesn't give me a job for the summer! LOL
Yeah... I know. It's just hard, particularly because the timing of how I heard was soooo bad. My friend in my current show (who is also doing the other show I was auditioning for) told me in the wings, right before my first entrance. UGH.
I know... I thought the same thing, "Er, couldn't you wait til after the show?" hehehe But I know he was just trying to be nice. Letting me know as soon as he found out, so I wouldn't have to wait the whole weekend before I got the "Thanks, but no thanks" call on Monday.
cool!!! I am still looking at the sched, but since i no longer have a job, there should be no reason I can't go now! As long as I make sure someone has Mom coverage I should be golden!

=( I hope you start feeling better DD!! Edward Sissorhands sounds like fun!
The only thing that sucks about losing the job is not I have to limit Broadway summer plans, lol. Probably won't see as many shows (at least not with the good seats I would have) as I had planned, but things could be worse. I have my RENT tickets to see Adam already, so that alone is good enough!
