I really need to go shopping. By the time I buy my winter wardrobe it'll be spring =).
Just got back from the Aida tour. I'll post an official review in my blog at some point tonight. I will definitely say that even if you don't like the show, if you have the chance check out the tour, just because of Casey (Radames), YUMMY! He makes it worth it! =)
How is everyone otherwise?
Post a link to your blog so I can read your review!
I just started, and I tend to ramble, so I'll let you know as soon as it's done =)
Back from my friend's cabaret. Very funny indeed.
There is an unpleasant smell in my apt. And I just CLEANED it so well today. Not sure what it could be...
Maybe it's bleach?
Thanks Tink, looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Just watched The Holiday again, I really do love that movie. My new favorite for now!
I think maybe the carpet got wet or something.
It's not awful. I'll live.
Just popping in to say evening all. Happy Saturday night!
DD - I hope the smell goes away!
YWIW - hello there! How are you?

Ok, time for me to go to sleep with sweet thoughts of Casey =)
A wee bit tired from assembling furniture. Turns out that the coffee table I ordered was missing a couple of holes, and was a wee bit too wide in a very important area. After drilling a few extra holes, and filing down some parts, (thanks to the fact that a good friend has a design shop and did it for me) we were able to make it work.
The manufacturer of the bed was the same as the coffee table, so when I called the store to complain, they informed me that the reason I had not received the final box on the bed was because they were recalling the headboard because the holes did not match up! - well at least they knew I was telling the truth.
They are coming to pick up the two boxes I already received (at no charge to me of course) and issued me a $75 store credit for the hassle with the coffee table. And said that if I wanted to, I could also choose to refund it for the full purchase price. But now, with all of the work put it, we actually got it to look like the picture, so I am just going to leave well enough alone and apply the money towards whatever bed frame I eventually buy.
Other than that, waiting for the sofa and chaise to arrive on Monday, and now just putting crap away.
Oh, and just overjoyed at my company's generous 3.4% raise - which, believe it or not is considered on the very high range of raises for my company.
Sheeesh.
I am sure that is way more information than you ever wanted!
Wow, that furniture sounds like a lot of work!
Tink, I'll read it when I get home from teaching today.
These early Sunday mornings suck, boy I'm tired.
YWIW - I'm so sorry to hear about your furniture saga's. It's really good that the store is being helpful and not making the situation worse! Some stores wouldn't do that! Congrats on the raise. I got a 10% raise when they moved me to manager and dumped an entire dept. on me. But when you make peanuts to begin with, 10% really isn't much! =) Def. not worth the amount of work I took on.
L - I look forward to it. I have to go re-read it to make sure everything is coherent, haha.

Hi, guys... Very tired. Went to sleep at 1am, woke up feeling ooky at 6am, and haven't been able to get back to sleep.
Been working a lot down at Disneyland this past week, plus helping to build the set for my theater company's next mainstage production. (In fact, I have to leave in about an hour to work on it some more.)
Tomorrow, I leave to go visit my parents in FL.
I think that's about it. Hope everyone's having a good weekend.
erika - Great to see you. Sorry you didn't sleep well. Have a great time in FL!

Thanks, Tink! As for the sleeping, it is what it is, you know? :-P
Good Sunday Ms. Erika, tink and L.
Any word on the most recent audition?

Nope. I'm fairly certain I didn't get it, but quite honestly (and I swear this isn't sour grapes), I really was on the fence about the job in the first place. If I got it, it would take me out of state for the whole summer (and not to anywhere fun), and it doesn't pay very much, etc. I had been debating even going to the audition in the first place, you know? But I went, because it was an agent-appointment, and I always go to those.
I totally get it. Don't wanna burn those bridges.

Yep, yep. Hey, how's rehearsal going?
They're going very well. I love working for this director. Today we are off-book and working with props for the first time. Ready for a long day!

DD - Cool! That's great news. Have fun today!
Well, I have to get going to my crew-call. Have a great Sunday, everybody!
Have fun Erika!
DD - are you doing a straight play or musical?
It's a play, tink.
That's cool. Do you act regularly in plays, or just when the right one comes along? (sorry for all the questions, I love hearing about people performing)
No worries...
I seldom perform. I used to be a dancer - 20 years and 30 pounds ago. Now I choreograph and stage manage.
Off I go to find a baby... have a fun Sunday.
"Off I go to find a baby"..... that sounds like a fun thing to do on a Sunday! Check out the corner market! ????
That's great DD. I was the stage manager for one show (Brighton Beach Memoirs) and that was enough. My crew mutinied! =) I hope your show has great success!
