Morning all! Have a great weekend!
I am doing Rent lotto tonight, or Mamma Mia SRO.
I wanna see RENT =(
It has been exactly 1 year since I saw it last. January 20th last year. Considering it is one of my favorite shows, that is way too long to go without seeing it!!!

MT - DO NOT SEE ANY RENT TOUR. It is horrible, but I am sure the BW production is still in fine shape. I read today that Telly Leung (sp) is in rent.
I keep hearing mixed things about both the tour and the broadway production of Rent. Good and bad about both.
I saw RENT on broadway in 99. I just want to go back and see it again =) I've had a few chances over the years, but I was never happy with the cast, so I refused to go. I didn't want a bad cast to ruin my love for the show.
I'm just so happy that this weekend kicks off my 4 weeks of excitement (Aida tour tonight, Spamalot + lotto show hopefully next weekend, then Superbowl weekend, then Tarzan!!)
That is more shows than I have plans for!
well & Wicked tour and 2 - 3 weeks later, if that counts =) and hopefully Chris takes the obvious hints and gets me some type of tickets for V-day!
But, L, you plan week by week depending on your sched. I have to plan by month =) You will still see 3 - 4 x's my amount of shows =)
I don't plan week by week, I usually go by the day! I'll have a tentative plan a couple days in advance, but it usually ends up changing anyway.
The only play in my horizon is the one I'm working on. I actually have 4 friends who are all doing shows at the exact same time that mine is running... so we can't support each other.
Next big one is Edward Scissorhands.
DD - that's cool! I wish I could work on a play again. I used to love it. But most of the small theaters around here are a small community and very clique-ish. I e-mailed & called some a few months ago, just saying I'd be willing to volunteer some time to help in whatever I way I can, etc. They never responded.
I haven't done any work with theaters or acting since I was a kid, I never cared for it. Always preferred to be in the audience!

We have Jersey Boys this year, Camelot tour, and Color Purple.
Also, Bee closes in March. So, I want to see it at least twice.
Good run in Chicago this year. I'd like to fly out to see Bee again there, I just don't see it happening though.
Camelot will be here too, but I have no intention to see it.
L - do you know all the cast from the Bee tour, or only the guy that plays Barfée?
I have met them all, know a few of them. Why?

DD, I have season tickets and I also love Camelot. This production will be without Walter B.
Just finished a nice draft of a brief, reviewed 15 files, dictated 15 letters and now am opening the box of my new computer!
Just now you are opening it? When I get something new, especially technology, I open it right away!
Sounds like an exciting Saturday, brd! But you are probably just counting down the minutes until tomorrow anyway!
I love cleaning my apartment... major sense of accomplishment when I see the clean coutertops and freshly vacuumed carpet.
L - the guy that plays Leaf is quite adorable.

DD, I agree we had a cleaning lady this week due to our schedule.
L, I have been swamped and also missed a day on Thursday. How is my new Dell. Do I look sexier?
I noticed a certain something about you, brdy, but couldn't put my finger on what it was...

I am trying PC Mover, but cannot figure it out and must get home. We are going to a function and DO NOT want to go.
I will probably not be on before I celebrate an NFC Championship - GO BEARS!
Just for you, brdy...
GO BEARS!!!
Did not end up going to a show, went out to dinner and shopping with a friend instead. Spent about 10 times more than I would have if I had gone to a show. Seriously.
