If your dining choices require something red, may I suggest...? Although, you may prefer to celler it instead.

Posted: 3/5/05 at 12:49pmGoodmorning Hussys. "We Wil Rock You" SUCKED! And that is all the time I will waste discussing such trash. How is everyone? What are you all upto this weekend? My flight leaves back home at 1 pm. At the moment I am finishing my room service. I lost about $100.00 last night in Back jack so I stopped gambling since I wanted to go home with my winings from the other night intact . ( you see; key is to know when to stop).

Pink scarves? Idina hands? Oh, PalJoey, the image!! That had me laughing out loud...
Well, the NY Times hated it. But they hate everything we do. My response to it is a big WHATEVER. I loved it...
Just stopping by to say hi, and hope you're all having a FUN Saturday. Weather here is grand and we're off with some wine and cheese & crackers to go watch the sunset over the gulf...
-(Idina hands... *shakes head laughing at PalJoey's ideas*

Oh, Addy, you had to go and spoil it--I had everyone believing that you had the joint jumping down at Carnegie Hall.
Well, truth be told, Addy was the perfect chorister, and Beethoven's music was perfectly sung. It was a glorious and soul-stirring evening, without a single moment of inappropriate pinkness.

Hi Addy - glad you have nice weather.
Mom - it might be 50 in Chi tommorrow.
Cookie - I did not have time to go to the wine shop, but went to the grocery store with limited selection so I found a La Crema 2003 Pinot Noir for 15.99. I will report later. In for the night and am counting down 3 minutes until the cocktail hour.
PJ - which Bewitched and Bewildered versions do you like - such a great song.
edit - three minutes have past and the gin is fine.

Posted: 3/5/05 at 6:15pmWell, Ella's "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" is the classic version, from her Rodgers and Hart Songbook, but Lena Horne turns it into a 1-act play on the OCR of "A Lady and Her Music" and Patti LuPone hits it out of the ballpark on the Encores! CR of "Pal Joey."

Ella's version is haunting. So much sadness in it.
Back to Sideways. I am a simpleton, but it is one of my favorite movies ever. It is a rare "guy" movie that does not involve guns. The scenery was gorgeous. The relationship between Miles and whatshisname was so interesting. I see as I get older that great relationships changes with our circunstances. The sex scenes were embarassing for me with my two sisters at the theatre. Great movie. Payne's next movie is "Nebraska."
Later – Cookie- La Crema 2003 Pinot Noir was excellent. The wife loved it. We said smooth and lovely. I will search for your recommendation in the Loop this week.
Dame –how was the flight? Nice restraint on the Black Jack.
Mom – great night with the family here.
