Whodunnit?

I <3 Adrianna's death scene, Cheerios dropping to the floor and exploding golf cart!!!!
Dana was also epic in a fail sort of way with the hysterics.
With that said I think the killer might be Dana, her dramatics and did you notice all the red she is wearing.
As for Dontae at the end. They had to add that since so many idiots complained to ABC about actually killing peopls.

Posted: 7/2/13 at 8:06amPeople actually thought they were killing them? That's hilarious. I couldn't believe how many of the contestants were crying like someone had really died.

Posted: 7/2/13 at 2:23pmI'm glad blaxx mentioned Murder in Small Town X. I think it was a big old flop--and I guess it was trying for more of a slasher movie vibe than camp or whatever this is--but I admit I was hooked on it, and was hoping this would be a similar reality series. (Murder did have the same problem of the contestants seeming to genuinely see their life as being in danger, though they did put them in genuinely--or seemingly genuinely--scary situations.)

re: the crying, I can only hope that people like Dana and Melina were crying because they realized how far off from the truth they were and were lamenting the potential loss of the money and not their lives.
The editing clearing makes you think it's the latter though...
Interesting note- it is not the "closing arguments" that determine placement, but a written test given to the contestants before dinner grilling them on the crime.

Posted: 7/2/13 at 5:19pmI need to start recording this so I can watch it back. I feel like I miss too much just watching it live.

I'm glad you started this thread. I wasn't interested on seeing this until I began reading these posts, and I liked the first two episodes. My comments:
- I wasn't surprised at all that Sheri was immediately killed. The dropping of the glass seemed staged, specially with that close-up of it getting shattered (although that may have been recreated). If she is not an actress, she must have known since the beginning that she was going to be the first one out.
- "Dontae" is a weird way of spelling Dante. Even they got it wrong once on the Postmortem web page.
- If they're real people and not actors, I'm sure they laugh when being poked at the morgue. We just don't get to see those parts.
- The first episode was fun, but I loved the second one once they all started getting crazy when those four wouldn't share what they knew.
I'll keep watching. The truth is I find it interesting even if they're crime aficionados/actors.

I heard something that they kept having to reshoot Dontae's scenes in the morgue over and over again because we couldn't stop laughing and was too cold (he was in the wet pajamas). Eventually they got hair dryers to blow on him to keep him warm.
If this is true then I give the other contestants a lot of credit for keeping their emotions up during all the retakes! Between the retakes and their death re-enactments these contestants are asked to "act" more than your average contestant on Survivor, Amazing Race, etc.
Sheri was a real cheerleader for the Rams. I don't know if she was brought on to be killed first or the producers drew her name out of a hat and told her she had to drop the glass because she was chosen as the first to go.
There absolutely needs to be a blooper reel on the DVD box set. I think the outtakes would be more amusing than the actual death scenes.

I agree, I would love to see the bloopers. We're putting the pieces together.
One more thing I just found out (because I have nothing else to do): ABC picked up the show on February 6th, and on February 11th Dontae reappeared on Twitter.
@DontaeMosbey: I was advised to tweet or die lol #deathrow

I haven't seen the show but I did see a comment about it on Facebook. Someone was complaining about the improper use of the English language and how calling the show "Whodunnit" rather than "Who Did It" is the dumbing down of America.
It made my head hurt.

LOL Eris. Did you inform them that "whodunnit" is in the dictionary and has been used for ages as a genre of books and movies?
I wish Don hadn't died, if for no reason than because no one suspected him of the crimes so it doesn't shake up their previous assumptions.

Stockard, Your DVR is mistaken. Make sure you manually set it!
This week's episode is new and titled "Mountain Lyin'" examining Don's death.
If you had to guess, who do you think the killer is? I would go with Ronnie.

JC, you're talking about Sasha....I don't like her either.
Did anyone recognize the tv show Adrianna was watching when the message for her to go outside came up. It was Rock of Love 3. LOL
Apparently at the same point some contestant was called out so was Adrianna. This is definitely a clue to the killer's identity.

Well, last night with the mountain lion this show somehow found a way to get faker and stupider! (Yet I can't stop watching.)
When they went to go check out the "tranquilized" mountain lion- which was only a piece of taxidermy!!!- and had to pretend they were gathering clues on a living beast it was just too much. Notice how there were barely any shots on the mountain lion, except in extreme closeup.
I like that Giles mentioned, for the sake of the audience, that no animals were harmed!
Poor Ulysses- they shouldn't have gotten rid of the cutest contestant. Kam gave the dumbest theory of them all though- he died of fright? That isn't a method of death, at least not one a killer could depend on.
I hope the horse was ok when Ulysses fell. It looked like it actually took a tumble.

Bet Uly was drugged and passes out, that's why the horse went out of control.
what was the point of the mountain lion if Don's death was a poisoning?
I really still don't have a clue to the killer's identity. All i know i want Dara to stay in the game!

The mountain lion was just a red herring- and gullible people like Ulysses fell for it. He said Don died of blood loss, even though he saw there were only a few cuts on the body in the morgue and was told there was very little blood in the kitchen.
My guess is that the killer is Cris.

The fact that the preview for next week features Dana saying 'Flames on the side of my face,' makes me think this is the greatest reality show. Of. All. Time.
Melina is so ridiculously over the top that I think she's the killer. But really...who cares? This show is so ridiculously loopy...I want it to last forever.

And that's exactly what everyone who is in love with it says.
Talking about Season 2 already.

RobbieJ, When I heard Dana quoting Clue I thought that had to be scripted, but even if it was it's funny they're making references like that.
There was an interview with one of the creators going around, and he said that the killer knows that he or she is the killer, but they don't know who each murder was committed. They are trying just as hard to figure it out as the other contestants, they just won't ever be eliminated if they did royally screw up the answer.
